Let me just say this: the author knows how to paint a picture with words and I am HERE for it. "The roof was made of straw, dripping with rainwater. The window was covered with a paper sheet, but it had several large holes torn through, letting her see the downpour outside. The floor was muddy and waterlogged, thick clumps of yellow clay everywhere. At the entrance of the room, there wasn't even a door panel." Read that. Just read it. Four sentences and I can FEEL the damp cold, smell the mildew, hear the rain coming through those holes. There's no door. NONE. This woman is sleeping in a room with literally nothing separating her from the outside world and some guy just waltzes in at night. That's not a plot convenience, that's a world that makes brutal sense. And the contrast when the fridge appears? Genius. One second you're in this mud hut with rotting leaves in a broken basket and a half-bucket of water, and the next—silver-gray three-door refrigerator covered in colorful magnets. The visual whiplash is incredible. It's not just a cheat item, it's a statement. This is a woman who hoarded food for comfort in her modern life and now that comfort is the only thing standing between these kids and starvation. The Dayong Dynasty details are sprinkled in naturally too. No info-dump about the political system or the economy—just the fact that Gu Cai was "forced to join the army" and the original owner's father ran "Tianxiang Pavilion" in the imperial city. You get the sense of a Ming-era setting without the author stopping the story to give you a history lecture. The world feels lived-in, not constructed.
The story is fast-paced but very good nonetheless. The world-building is great and so is the character development. Great work, Keep it up!!
Well it's only the first chapters, but the chapter title, well it was quite something. Thought the actual thing was different from what I was thinking and the story was quite astrounding. But I hope you update more frequently. I will be waiting for the rest to come
It's not that bad 'disregard the reading status I went back' but it has a bunch of plotholes and the characters are shallow af. The MC is unrelatable it lacks a lot of the principles of the hero's journey (if you don't know what this is here's a link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hero%27s_journey) and it has a bunch of tangents of explanations. Idk if restarting or ending the novel right now, but I would suggest that the author continues the story and when done with the story reread, learn the mistakes, and if they still have the passion for writing, make a new one, that's my opinion thx. (P.S even though this sounds rude, read other novels and try to find plotholes and confusions and try to see how to fix them. Also judge all writing, even reviews like this one, but also remember about context) GL :)
This story is an uncut gem that will surely shine with some polishing...Having your sister suicide is traumatizing and then learning that she was may have been killed must be harsh on our MC but that sets the stage for his future development. Excited to read how the future unfolds for Red..Good work author!
The beginning fools me. I thought this will be a story where you got people to kills each others under the threat of a madman. But no, in fact the beginning is a wonderful show of friendship and I seriously rooting for them to survive, then we got the madman and BE.Then the 2nd volume trick me again because I was hoping for another friendship show but no, I got my initial thought.I dislike BE but the horror is good which is what I am looking for.So here, takes this solid 5* from me.

Ah the start is really good. to be honest I loved the descriptions. you have a good writing style but I think you can work on your punctuation marks. I saw there are some unnecessary spaces between the punctuation marks. mostly in dailogues. Other than that it's a great read.
The quality is decently high for Webnovel I just feel like the beasts are advancing a little slow
I really like this story. it takes a longer slower route then some people like but the characters and story are more flushed out then a lot of others. There is no screaming "you dare
everything is ok but i am not a big fan of [god or his follower] type novels. i like more of mc who is either solo or with companions. but still its not bad novel so far, just not my cup of tea. and yes this novel is unique in my opinion.
