Mother still has many good things in her private treasury.' BRO. She's trying to bribe her way out of a moral crisis like it's a marketplace transaction. The plot here is so satisfying because it's not just about revenge—it's about Lin Yanran outmaneuvering people who thought they could walk all over her. She extracts TWO large manor deeds as compensation. That's not just winning; that's winning with interest. And then the Nanny Tian subplot? Perfect escalation. Just when you think the main conflict is handled, BAM—another betrayal revealed. The story keeps layering threats and resolutions in a way that never feels stagnant. But here's what bugs me slightly: the pacing of the Nanny Tian reveal felt a touch convenient. She just confesses everything immediately? A little more resistance or manipulation from her side would've made the scene even richer. Still, the overall plot momentum is razor-sharp.
Where the story of Jeremy and Corrine ends? Anya is getting in my nerves!
