Finally read all chapters,One of my best book on Goodnovel, so enjoyable.
The author’s descriptions of the characters’ appearances and personalities are quite contradictory.
I do appreciate how the main character isn’t afraid to be clingy and coquettish. I would have given the story 3 stars, but in Chapter 86, the villain, who is the main lead’s adopted brother, was involved in a spoiler:
- He raped someone off-screen and was then threatened by a group member to stay with them.
I don’t enjoy stories that use such scenarios for revenge or as a form of justice, so I have decided to drop this novel.
I think all the chapters we have on here are completely up to date. I could definitely be wrong though.
For y’all asking if the novel is still ongoing. Well, the story is completed with a total of 110 chapters + epilogue. The current translations are lagging behind, so hopefully we will get a mass release in the near future, fingers are crossed?.

This novel played with my feelings at the beginning. .
So, prior to this, I came across an intriguing story, which might have influenced my perspective. The narrative seems quite spontaneous, with no clear connections between events, giving off a disjointed feel. The pacing is peculiar as well; the main character, a grown woman, is suddenly weeping in the woods over the loss of her kitten years ago, followed by the sudden appearance of healing magic and an injury involving the male lead within the same context. Then there's the issue of her practicing her magic alone, which, in my opinion, she shouldn't possess such abilities given the circumstances. Frankly, I've had dreams with more coherent and engaging storylines than what I'm encountering here.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. It resonated with me as a story about a man who, after discovering his husband's long-term infidelity, decides to confront them both. The narrative delves into the复杂 emotions and thoughts of a man repeatedly wronged by his unfaithful partner. While the protagonist's actions may be extreme, they can be seen as a reaction to the pain he has experienced. Whether or not these actions are justified is subjective – some might argue that the end doesn't always justify the means, and indeed, the method employed is quite unconventional. However, I empathize with his underlying motivations.
