Unable to shake the overwhelming feeling of foreboding currently encircling my thoughts I cautiously descended downstairs, however the situation presenting did nothing to calm my nerves: Blinds flung open, used cups and utensils hurriedly dumped in the sink, various papers carelessly strewn across the floor and most importantly, Eve's numerous shoes and jackets had all seemingly vanished. Various hormones began flooding through my veins, a sense of panic immediately gripping my existence. Calling out would prove a pointless task as I gulped in nervous anticipation of what events had recently transpired.
"Vannessa and Tre at your service madam." Vannessa bows with Tre.
"See the durability is decent. Though it only takes one hit from me to disable the protective titanium armour." Dan shrugged and moved on. Soon after the duo left, the ground healed itself, and an angel cleaned up the broken drone.
Bonnie gasped as she looked at the flyer, "So you're getting your own exhibition?" she awed.
Alexis fiddled with the strings almost skilfully, crooning out long, enchanting notes as she swayed and stepped side to side. When she made the final note, Mia stopped with her, the teacher and student giving Alexis applause. I joined in.
"No, it survived."
Thank you guy for your constant support :). To tell you the truth I will miss interacting with you but as you know for know my studies are top priority. I will still show up as a reader from time to time. And with this I hope you all have wonderful and fulfilling lives. And from now on this story is no longer mine alone but yours as well. "Killed.... I have killed.."
"Is that the teacher?" the child interjected.
Phoenix stamped angrily. "I can't believe you managed to lose something so powerful."
She could feel it – so much relief, so much joy at being alive. She looked around. Perhaps that was normal. That was how a warrior might feel at surviving a battle.
I could only read a couple of chapters before I dropped the novel. I couldn't help but find it very childish and boring. The plot is simply boring
