This is a really great story. You have a great narration and your writing style is cool. Good job, author, and keep writing. I totally recommend this.

Why is the book ending? There isn’t an answer to what happened to the characters. I enjoyed the book but did get a little bit disappointed when the main characters kept repeating the events in their lives but I thought it was a good story line and interesting too. Can it not be finished ?

Okay so I need to talk about this absolutely brilliant character subversion. Fengxue literally has a thought that just—bombs into her head: could it be that these great villains eventually fell to demonhood because they were just POOR? Like, not because of some grand tragedy or dark destiny, but because they couldn't afford talismans and had to resort to heretical arts to survive. That is such a fresh take on the whole 'future demon lord' trope. And then you see them in action. Ye Xingyue is this tiny girl who immediately blames her senior brother for everything, points at him and goes 'It was Senior Brother's idea!' with the most pitiful innocent face. Ye Pengzhou just flicks her forehead. Ah Yao is wheedling for travel money. They're not some terrifying cult of villains—they're bickering kids who happen to be doing terrible things because that's what they've been forced into. The moment that really got me though was when Ye Pengzhou studies Fengxue after she skins that dog. He asks her why Qingming Mountain's methods are so ruthless, and she just laughs and says 'But can someone who uses techniques like beast-making even be counted as a person?' And then she looks at them—these kids who also used beast-making—and says 'You all fought evil with evil. Good. That counts as a person.' She's giving them permission to still be human. That's... that's actually really beautiful in a really twisted way. And Ye Pengzhou's reaction? He laughs, delighted. 'Little Immortal Maiden, you really are interesting!' Like he's genuinely thrilled. The seed of something is definitely being planted there.
