The protagonist is an undeniably devoted admirer of the female lead, and surprisingly, I found the novel quite entertaining. I particularly enjoyed the amusing public misunderstandings that arose from the character's terrorism antics. Although the romantic aspect progresses slowly, the harem dynamic develops at an impressive pace. Despite some cringe-worthy moments, this book proves to be quite enjoyable if you can overlook those parts.
This narrative is truly extraordinary, and I believe using the term "amazing" would be an understatement! The pacing is exceptional, consistently engaging me from the very beginning to the most recent chapter (I attempted reading it raw, but had to stop due to comprehension issues; I'll wait for the translation). The plot development is outstanding, with the couple exhibiting a remarkable, healthy dynamic that many readers would envy. Ting Shuang's eccentric behavior and Bai Changyi's understanding create a balanced and authentic connection. Both characters influence each other positively, making them an inspiring pair.
What I appreciate about this novel is its approach to problem-solving. The characters handle conflicts with maturity, avoiding the typical impulse for excessive revenge in other stories. The protagonist is neither overly lenient nor vindictive; his actions are rational and relatable,尽管偶尔有些傻气。
Each character possesses their unique flaws, which, in my opinion, only adds to their charm and realism.

I have reservations about the concept of the childhood friend trope in romantic stories. It feels limiting, as it restricts the potential for other love interests to develop. At present, I am against it due to its perceived immorality. As for the character in question, they come across as too passive and unambitious, which doesn't appeal to me. Overall, I rate them 3.5 stars.
