I need to talk about this scene where Lu Dantao is dragging the male protagonist back to Shouzhou City. She's this pampered noble girl — literally described as having never done hard labor — and she hauls his unconscious body all the way through the night on sheer willpower alone. The text says 'perhaps a person's potential really is limitless' and honestly that line hit me harder than it should have. Not because it's romantic — it's not, not yet — but because of what it reveals about her motivation. She tells the physician 'In this world, I'm relying entirely on him.' That's not just pragmatism. That's a girl who woke up in a foreign body with no memories, no family, no identity, and found the one person who could change her fate. There's a vulnerability underneath all that scheming and planning. And then there's Xue Yao's POV in Chapter 2 — the confusion, the fragmented memories of blood and darkness, the sound of metal scraping against stone pulling him back to consciousness. When he opens his eyes and sees her, the red mole between her brows catching the sunlight... the author doesn't spell it out but you can feel the shift. He's been through hell and the first thing his broken mind latches onto is her face. I'm not sure where this is going but I'm already emotionally compromised. Please tell me they survive this.
writer just up and abandons this book after chapter 47 with no explanation.

Yael is Alpha Ahbaha's mates name. It was wrong in the chapter. I loved this book and I loved the Alpha's Private Affairs. I am desperately waiting for the next book to see what happens next. You have me hooked. Please don't leave us hanging to long....

Loved the beginning, the middle was meh but still good, hated the ending. I like when books are left for open interpretation but really a dream after Hunters and Barbara romance I was expecting more. I still enjoyed it though.
