Melodramatic soap-opera with a heavy helping of 'rape-****'. (Soap-operas are popular tho - so if that is your jam... try it out) Now for all the stuff that made me hate it:- The "time-travel" part is mere setup with historical anachronisms EVERYWHERE.- The tone whipsaws from campy porno to foodie adventure to gritty rape drama. Often within a single chapter!- The main male lead is either a misogynistic criminal or... a undercover good guy. Pick one or the other book! (You can't have your bad boy cake and eat it too)- The rape.- The very pervy way the book lingered on (multiple) rape scenes. Complete with moans, and the girl "secretly liking it".- The way the book tries to justify the rape by being "historical".Gave it a three simply because the translators did a great job.

This book is a Master peice and its sad seeing such a gem not have a higher ranking Each chapter makes you want to read the next and becomes an addiction.Amazing author.The Only things that could be better is more chapters but i would rather have less chapters and higher quality.
So I loved this, it made want to travel too. I can imagine the amount of research that went into writing this, and the attention to small details makes it an even better read.If you enjoy reading about different places and cultures I would definitely recommend this.
A shameless author doing what a shameless author does. I (as the writer) like where the story is goong but have to say you ought to be patient, as the story is slow and there’s still no action, I asure you it, ll be rewarded, though! So keep on tuned and see where this is going!!

This novel started strong. While there were some parts I feel could have been explored a bit more, pacing was fine too. however, when the author started to copypaste half of previous chapters, continuity and readability broke.
Mysteries always capture the heart of the readers. The author has successfully planted curiosity to whoever will read this, I recommend the book to everyone ?
I'll admit, this is a very different type of web novel that asks you to focus much less on the plot and more on the characters. Doing that, for me, creates a much stronger ability to enjoy the series. There's already a foundation established for what we can expect for the end of the series and a very rough idea of how that's going to happen. How well this story turns out depends on the characters, which I do like so far.I look forward to reading more chapters from the author. It's a very kick back and read it type of series that doesn't ask too, too much from you.The dish description could more detail, admittedly however. If that can be fixed, I'll enjoy this series a lot more than I currently do.
