It's a really good story I would admit but it could use some improvements but it's good actually there are some parts where the get was wrong but it's nots a boring story I guess my point here is that the story is great
I am usually a kindle book reader, this is my first time reading a webnovel, i found this book by accident and its a real gem
This is by far one of the best books i have ever read
I have read many gaming novels, in most of them the MC simply gets overpowered stats, items and spells which enable them to fight 1v1000.
In this novel the MC has 10 years of experience of the game and starts again from scratch in the new server. It is explained how the MC outclasses the average player and it shows the way of thinking that professional players have.
The translation quality is very good, it doesnt contain extraordinary adjectives and it's structured very well.
The update stability is good aswell, they release the 12 chapters/week as mentioned.
The character design is very nice, every character has his own personality, and the diverse personalities represent different kinds of players. As an example the MC who is known as the best player only cares about the competitive aspect of Glory, while other pro players care about the media. There are also pro players that had to retire because of injuries (Sun Zeping) or age (Wei Chen). But it is not only about pro players. There are aswell characters like Chen Guo who are passionate Glory fans. Another one is the initial noobish player Steamed Bun who relies on his instincts while playing. On the contrary there are players like Concealed Light who understand the theory but are unable to implement it on their playstyle due to lack of mechanical skills.
The world building is the best part of the novel. Initially the novel is about the game glory with its cities, quests, dungeons, wild bosses and so on, while later on the focus is more on the pro league. I really like that the author describes everything so detailed, especially the relationships between clubs, club guilds and pro players, but also the in-game components like dungeoning, PKing, large scale fights.
I recommend this novel to all gamers who have some interest in the way of thinking of a pro player or professional e-sports in general.
In this novel, the world is a mix of futuristic setting with advanced technology like virtual reality and elements of traditional cultivation. Our MC is absolutely overpowered from his childhood, much to the surprise and shock of his superbly average parents. This novel is filled with a comedic underdone as the MC tries to stay low-key in his school life, but epically fails. In this sense MC is somewhat similar to Zhang Xuan from LoHP, although in this book the face slapping element is relatively less prominent. It is suggested as a light read for comedic relief.
It seems to be a decent story
Basically a story where your average Chinese is transmigrated to an alternate universe where monster called ‘sprites’ exist.
Like all transmigration stories, mc gains a Cheat specifically a virtual interface ,allowing him to look at the statistics and evolutionary paths of the monster sprites.
MC seems to be an average intelligence person who is calm so far learns more about this alternate world.
It seems kinda similar to another novel where the mc becomes a monster breeder (He also like this mc as a cheat allowing him to see evolutionary paths and stats of monsters)
The translation is definitely amazing. Even one sentence where a character was talking in uwu saying words like ‘bwother’.
There are unfortunate signs that this could be a mediocre novel tho. Like other novels, there is a fatty best friend character. This cliche is so overused it gives me aids.
Still give it a try.
If you are looking for an OP MC, it is hard to say because this MC is strong but can not be categorised as overpowered.. Firstly, MC skill - god extraction.. It is not as strong as other novels MC because their MC also have extraction talent but their MC are sooooo OP.. If you already read another novel that their MC also have "extraction" talent, you might see this novel MC as weakling because the author are not making this "extraction" talent as strong as we imagine (the novel title "godlike extraction" kinda the reason we imagine MC are OP).. One of the example, MC can only extract it from a corpse, but there are no corpse that are able to remain more than a day.. Because after they died, they would be cremated as soon as possible because the author made it like that.. If the corpse are remain intact, they will become strong zombie.. So, MC only got limited time and range to extract them.. Another reason is that when MC extracts it from the corpse, he will only get one thing, such as skill, technique, stamina, energy, cultivation, memory, practice card (depend on corpse: example: practice card - spend 10year in this space equal to 5min in real world). In this novel, the author makes it beast corpse as useless as he can.. Because all the beasts that MC extract, he will get stupid things.. For example, MC can get 10 min invincible bodies (quite strong, but if the skills are permanent), but MC can only use ONCE.. Another skill MC got is 3 min invisible, and can only be used ONCE.. not only the duration is short, but all skills that he gets from the beast corpse are one-time use.. Is MC a genius?? No.. Not a all.. is you looking at the result where MC is 17 years old and has already become the strongest in the country? You might think MC is a genius.. but unfortunately, he not.. The lifetime for the cultivator is around 100-300 years but already reach same level MC.. MC is 17 years old, but he spent 2000 years in practice space to reach where he is now.. Plus, with his extraction talent, he is provided as many resources as the cultivator can only imagine to get.. What is even worse, if MC gets a technique from extraction, he needs around 50 years (and more) to train in practice space (equal to 5 min in the real world).. All others novel MC, their author make their MC absorb the technique and can use right away and if not, they only spend a few day or AT LEAST a week before their MC master the technique.. Unfortunately, that does not apply to this novel MC.. The author doesn't want the MC to become to OP.. So the novel kinda misleading to call his novel "Godlike Extraction" where actually, this novel MC is the weakest MC compared to other extraction novel MC.. I don't understand why many authors keep putting "God" or "Supreme" but not making his MC OP.. They do purposely to mislead people to read their novel title..

The novel is certainly not the best, but it’s different.
There are many vrmmorpg novels out there, among them I’ve tried quite a few, and this one is different to all I know of, it’s new and fresh.
Many aspects are reminiscent to other works, the mc against almost everyone else, even the ‘secret’ race & class have been done before, however in contrast to other I find this one much more developed (note that I’m not omniscient and haven’t read them all).
I realize that I’m writing a bit to much, I’m not making a proper reviret and I’ll just round it off by mentioning my favoriter thing about the novel.
The hierarchical system that mc is apart of, and how he moves through it it, the different ranks give a feeling of an actual organised force, and that is a big plus, I imagine the mc in the future overwhelming and crushing the weak mortals with a gigantic army of skeletons, it’s truly exhilarating.
