1. This really, Really, REALLY a good novel. It is easy to read and the plot isnt that complicated. Most of the time its all about the Slice of Life between the MC, his Elfin (Game Pets or Historical Pets aka like Hachiko), the Side Characters, and the Industry
2. A LOT of good drama side stories which will touch your heart! (I cried at some tbh)
3. A LOT of useful information about pets and events that are REALLY useful in IRL (Literally, I have pets so I can understand, can also help others decide which pet breed to have)
4. Comedy is TOP TIER! (If you have read Im Really A Super Star then its that level of Comedy)
5. MC is as shameless as those shamless OP characters in Wuxia or Xianxia! ?
6. No Chinese Supremacy or Racism so far
Cons:
1. Its a slice of life novel so its better to treat it as a casual read if your a fantasy weeb
2. You get bored if your not fan of modern genre, especially with 1800+ chapters
3. 65% of the plot are side stories

Overall, I rate this book a solid 5 out of 5. Some readers might argue that Frey is too virtuous, but this authenticity sets him apart as a relatable protagonist, willing to endure trials for his loved ones and fight for genuine justice, not just pretense.
In summary, I highly recommend this novel to fans of dark fantasy heroes and fairy tale-inspired stories.

Unfortunately, certain tropes like the overused "buhihihi" pig-like laughter and the repetitive references to being a "white piggy duke" become tiresome after a while. If you were to remove the piggy duke jokes, the chapter lengths would shrink significantly.
If you're looking for a light read during times when you need something less demanding than a serious or high-stakes tale, this might fit the bill. It features a fat guy's journey, exercise, and his gradual transformation into a sought-after man, all while handling humor. With chapters averaging around one hour to read up to Chapter 75, it's a decent choice for a casual read. Overall, it's an average read, nothing extraordinary.
