As soon as they finished eating, Father went up stairs to his study while Rowan picked Valerie up and played with her in her room. Soon enough, they all slept. Another day has passed. It soon turned into weeks, then months, and finally one more year had passed. Tomorrow was the first day of school for Rowan, starting his 2nd year of middle school.
