mc really like underestimating his enemies. everytime he fight big enemy(at least same realm), he always use his weakest skill first, then step up to second weakest, and so on. so most big fight need at least 1 or 2 chapters to finish when in reality he can just use his strong skill in the beginning to finish the fight. one of his enemy manage to flee because mc like to play around. it's just frustrating to read that kind of fight.he literally has 70% energy usage efficiency, using big moves(excluding his ultimate skill at that time) won't tire him. all he does is spamming weak skill. urgh....i hate this kind of mc.
This is a wonderful comedy and you still get the awesome might of a serious cultivation novel along with the overpowered protagonist that usually come with. I highly recommend this story to anyone that likes cultivation novels.
It's not completely unreadable. I finished the whole thing.I regret spending the time on it. It's longer than it needs to be, the characters are absolutely one-dimensional, the plot devices are re-hashed MULTIPLE times, the author repeats the same information over and over and over and over, and the plot armor of the MC could take a shot from the death star without a scratch. There's zero thought put into the actual measurements of...anything (a sword strike few thousand times the speed of light is apparently totally able to miss somebody that is ten TRILLION kilometers tall at point blank range. That's trillion, with a T. Also, TRILLIONS of years go by in the blink of an eye, multiple times. Also, the ending was boring enough I would find myself skimming the text to pick out key words. I love to read, if the end of your novel is less of a "what happens next!" and more of a "bah, I'm 88% in on this 1400+ chapter novel, might as well take the time to finish" then you've failed as an author. It honestly felt like he was trying to pad the novel length, rather than actually improve the quality. Sometimes less is more. However, the translation quality was fantastic. There were some additional footnotes added to explain several of the more esoteric mythology introduced and that was certainly much appreciated.
Two words: THE BRICK!Five stars just for the brick.Fancy divine heavenly sword? Pwned with the BRICK!Peerless dragon tooth sabre? Pwned with the BRICK!Unholy trinity devil blood spear? Pwned with the BRICK!Too manly for proper weapons.Just hit with the brick. ^^
Love it. Though I must say, I like this more than your fanfiction. If you can provide constant updates then you will surely get a contract. Will be waiting for more.I wish you luck ??
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Thank you for translating two of my favourite sports novels. The translation was surprisingly easy to read even though it was MTL'd. Might be because it was from korean instead of chinese but idk
I need to talk about Lu Jing because this man is EVERYTHING and also absolutely devastated and I can feel it through the pages. On the surface, he's the cold, composed, hyper-professional actor type. The text literally says his face is "as cold and stern as ice" and his smiles carry "a sense of detachment." But then the author shows us the REAL Lu Jing in these tiny moments—the way he ruffles Lin Shen's hair, the way his voice carries "a hint of grievance" when he says he hopes Lin Shen won't find him annoying, the fact that he's driving Lin Shen to work even though he has his own schedule. This man is so clearly desperate to reconnect with his husband and has no idea how to do it. He keeps repeating "we are partners now" like a mantra, almost like he's trying to convince himself as much as Lin Shen. And the scene where he's cooking breakfast and Lin Shen just freezes in the doorway watching him—that's the kind of domestic sweetness that makes my heart explode. But then there's the Qi Zhang scene at the end, and suddenly Lu Jing's whole world cracks open. His friend is throwing wine bottles at him and calling him out for not being considerate, and Lu Jing is sitting there dead serious about Lin Shen's amnesia. This man has been carrying something huge alone, and now he's finally telling someone. And Lin Shen! Poor thing is just trying to process everything while also being genuinely sweet about it. When he spins around showing Lu Jing he's fine, that's not just comedic relief—that's someone who genuinely wants to make their partner feel better even while they're completely lost themselves.
