Overall a good story, if overly edgy and not particularly well thought out. The setting is about as expansive as you'd expect from a xianxia, which is noteworthy because this was posted almost entirely separate from the genre. It suffers from many of the flaws as well, though, exacerbated since it's shorter than most but tries to cram quite a bit of content into the space.Worth noting that the author has several more chapters posted over on FF . net, but he's also since dropped it in favor of a yet to be posted rewrite, so the story is quite dead.

This is a great novel. If your expecting anything serious then don't read it though because you won't get what you're looking for. It's one of the funniest things I've read in a while.
A mediocre story that brings nothing unique to the table. Not to mention the main character can hardly be considered a vampire after only seventeen chapters. I won't spoil it but he has been gaining things that make him more human than vampire. The only redeeming quality is that the translation is top notch as per usual. I could see this appealing to people who are young (12-15) or have yet to read novels that do something similar to this story but a dozen times better.

This book is so much better than the other books you wrote. I don’t think you should let the criticism get to you but use it as a tool to learn and not drop this novel from it like the last novel.
