“Broken by the alpha” by June Ester, started out good. In the middle of the book she stared messing up by forgetting her character names and using unknown name. Then a lot chapters would start unrelated to the one before. Sometimes I didn’t know what she was talking about.The end is never finished.

This was such a fun story, a classic reincarnation tale set in the 70s, but it feels grounded in reality. The protagonist isn’t overpowered just because she’s from the future, and the relationships are well-developed and balanced.
I just wish there had been a scene with her meeting her grandmother from her first life; it would have added a lovely, wholesome touch.

I don't typically leave reviews, but I'm giving this story a try since everyone seems to be praising it highly. The translations are excellent, by the way. However, I'm starting to lose patience with the female lead (FL) due to her constant nosiness and assumptions. I understand that the male lead's character growth and humor are central, but FL keeps intruding and insisting he do things her way. It feels forced – everything he does or buys is because she demands it. Despite her intelligence claims, her conclusions about the male lead are consistently off, and even though she means well, her forcefulness creates discomfort. She comes across as overbearing, which doesn't sit well with me. She may believe actions speak louder than words, but her behavior, especially when boasting and judging his fake identity, becomes unbearable. I hope both main characters undergo some development, because as it stands, they're quite difficult to relate to. I'm only on chapter 35, and I'm hoping for a change.

The author isn't homphoic you have to understand the summary to now this it's just that the older brother is trying to save the yonger brother because of somethingg. Mabey he loved somebody and took them prisner and became the villan. Or he just trying to stop him from being gay since the person he loved turned him gay and caused him to only love that person and won't stop from nothing to get that person butif he isn't gay then he won't fall in love.
