Author shamelessly here to review her own book!
Thank you so much for your support so far; it's been massive and I'm grateful.
I hope this work captivates you enough to make you return for another read.
thanks for responding, you have written an amazing book
I came back because I thought maybie after more than half a year there will be an update but no. It's sad that there is no new chapters or at least some info about the author, I hope he will continue to wright some because I really enjoyed it up so far. Maybie next month I'll check again, but at this point I'm starting to give up.
Chauvinism put a bad taste in my mouth, but the academia/science setting is a little tempting...
Edit: decided to read. First chapter shares similarities with a bad manhua I read in the past.
Update: went to check the tag for any harem, thankfully there's not, though there is a romance subplot. Accidentally found the adapted to manhua, "oh no," i thought, went to check. "Yup, it's that one." It's the manhua I'm talking about previously (i think it's called Black Tech system or something). Decided to stay reading as bad adaptation also happened to lotm, so i don't judge too soon(I'm coping here). That adaptation is insane, the system has a girl avatar(there aren't any in the novel), and you guessed it, skimpy outfit. Just barely ch1 and I quit.
If that does happen, I shudder to think what the new nukes would be like. (Also before you say, I know that humanity coulda made nukes way worse than the Tsar bomba (currently the biggest and most devastating (as per my knowledge) nuclear bomb in existence) with the current age's technology but have unilaterally agreed on enough being enough
