Wait for the book two! hehe
I have to say this was an amazing read. This has got to be one of my favorites. There was never a dull moment. Author I want especially thank you for not making Charlotte weak. I definitely recommend reading this book. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Good work. loved it
love this book very exciting need more chapters
This book needs editing. Stuff doesn't make sense. Maybe it is a translation issue or AI generated sentences, but it's hard to read and understand.
Okay so this whole competition scene is genuinely brilliant plotting. Let me break it down because the way the author structures this is just *chef's kiss*. We have Shen Nianyi working months on this brocade, right? All her hopes are on this one competition. Then BAM — Madam Chen's people start shoving her, she stumbles, ink goes everywhere. Classic setup: the protagonist is systematically undermined. But here's the thing that really impressed me — the ink doesn't just ruin the brocade, it ruins it on PEI YANSHU. That's not random. The author is connecting two plot threads in one devastating moment. And then Pei Yanshu does this absolutely wild thing. Instead of getting angry, he makes a joke about marrying her. Think about what that does to the plot: it completely redirects the tension. Everyone was ready to punish Shen Nianyi, and suddenly the entire venue is laughing at some rich guy's ridiculous proposal. The brocade competition winner becomes background noise to the real drama. But here's where the plot gets even smarter — the next chapter shows us the AFTERMATH. The gossip spreading through West Market, the neighbors coming to 'comfort' her while actually being nosy, her own employees making suggestive comments. The author isn't just telling us 'people talked about it.' She's showing us the social consequences in real time, layer by layer. And then — plot twist — Pei Yanshu shows up at her shop in chapter four like it's no big deal. Like HE didn't just turn her life into a public spectacle. The pacing here is incredible. The competition scene is fast and chaotic, then chapter three slows down to this heavy, suffocating atmosphere at the breakfast table, then the neighbors arrive and it becomes this uncomfortable social comedy. The author knows exactly when to speed up and when to let tension simmer. And that ending — Pei Yanshu walking in with a food box like nothing happened — that's a cliffhanger that makes you immediately want to keep reading.
It started off intriguing, but unfortunately, Major Mc's character didn't live up to my expectations for an elite soldier. The story, despite its promising premise, began to feel monotonous as time went on. Initially, I found it captivating, but later, it failed to maintain my interest. I appreciate the concept, but personally, the execution of the narrative didn't resonate with me. As a non-professional reviewer, this is simply my honest opinion.
Came here for the yanderes, but left with depression...
Highly recommend ?
So who does the mc have sex with?
when's the next update???????
Where can you read I need to know ?
