The only interesting aspect of the story is the data ability. Everything else is secondary including the main character. Despite saying he will do his best to keep this acquired talent a secret, he shamelessly performs unbelievably well. He went from a student with low grades to a genius in just a day to be generous few days. He even solved a hard maths question nobody could solve. And just before all these events he survived a truck accident. The guy is just stupid, this ability has been given to a brain dead mc. Such a shame.
as of writing this there are only 5 chapters so I'll update later. but the initial character development is great. there are a couple of characters that seem iffy but looks like their still defined. the world hasn't been explained yet but if seems modern dayish and mythology is generally fact. it's more myths like today.

90 % of words are over written, an 50 % are un needed and over descriptive , beyond what could be acceptable or fine.Premise was fine then ,2 bit piece of junk writer happened, maybe he cant fill more pages ortherwise. With a work that cant be resumed at 10 pages , like this.And let no begin with plot holes. Puuf
OK...so Chu Li is a transmigrated particle physicist who essentially becomes the plant whisperer. His cultivation technique seems to hinge on him communing with flora and he can speed up their growth and germinate seeds that nobody else can to revive amazingly helpful plants. Besides that, the cultivation is confusing to me. He seems to substitute plant power for internal strength and then gains internal strength or adds it ....I got lost. And presently, some chapters are repeated, out of order, and I think at least 1 chapter is missing.Any way, Chu Li's goals in life seem to be to get powerful, and hoard beautiful and talented women. He has his eyes on three at once, and given the way he reacts to women, It's only 3 because only three have been introduced. This looks to be a harem building, skirt chasing story with an op mc leveling up whenever convenient through reading some books or touching some plants or some other nebulous means. It's only been 21? (20? 19?) chapters, but unless you are a big harem fan or a botanist, I probably wouldn't recommend this .....but it's still early so maybe the next 20 chapters will be great.....and in order.
Starting with Chapter 350 or so, the quality of the translation gotten worse. It used to be great, but now is only so-so. Did Nyoi-Bo Studio moved their good translators off this novel because it's not doing too well in the power rankings? It's a shame, because I like mystery novels and Qidian doesn't have too many of them.
