its basically a money grab opportunity as the others have said, it goes around in circles. the story is repetitive. The book started off really good, but eventually lost the plot. Both the leads are really weak willed, neither willing to fight for what they want. So far very disappointing.

I don't usually praise dialogue in these kinds of novels because honestly most of them read like people reading from scripts. But this author? They understand that dialogue isn't just about what characters say—it's about what they can't say out loud. Take Li Luo's exchange with the back-scrubbing woman. The woman says "You're this fat, and no need? Can you even reach your own back?" And Li Luo's internal response is just: "She's got a point." That's not just funny—that's character. Li Luo isn't defensive here. She's self-aware enough to agree with insults, which makes her infinitely more interesting than a protagonist who either ignores criticism or crumbles under it. Han Qiuyu's dialogue is equally well-crafted, and that's the harder thing to do—writing a bully who doesn't sound like a cartoon villain. "You stink! Like a dead fish" is cruel but it's also specific. It's not generic bullying—it's sensory, it's visceral, it's the kind of thing someone actually says when they want to wound. And then later: "Your stench is filling the whole courtyard!" She's performing for an audience. That's the difference between a good antagonist and a bad one. Qin Mian's voice is the most distinct of all three. His sentences are short, clipped, almost surgical. "Where did you go? Why are you back so late?" "Useless!" "Rest early." He doesn't explain himself. He doesn't soften his words. And when he does speak at length—"If you starve yourself to death, I'll just marry someone else right away"—it's so jarring that you can't help but read it twice. The narrative voice itself is also worth noting. It's close third person, mostly anchored to Li Luo's perspective, but it has this dry, almost wry quality. When she thinks "Unbelievable. A man lighter than a woman. Useless!" after trying on Qin Mian's clothes, that's not just observation—that's the narrator winking at you. The author trusts the reader to get the irony without spelling it out. And the internal monologue! "What a fake white lotus!" Li Luo's thoughts about Aunt Liu are brutal and accurate. The author doesn't sanitize her protagonist's inner voice. Li Luo is angry, she's judgmental, she's plotting revenge in her head. She's also right about Aunt Liu being two-faced.
Story is wonderful. I love each n every chapter of this There wasn't any single chapter that bored me. Just amazing, can't describe it but just brilliant . Their love , their bond Evey thing sound so pure n beautiful. Such a beautiful story. Tron n Camilla both needed their own story plz write it
