After saying goodbyes to her family she drove her pumpkin to their meeting place. She parked her car to a nearby parking lot and walked at the Capital's famous baywalk.
The "infection"- also known as The Plague - started in the early years of the 20th century around Eastern Europe, spreading in a way fast enough that only a few countries in Asia and fewer states in America were able to prevent the infection from affecting them. The exact origin and time of this plague is unknown. The results were that each country/state became isolated by building a barricade ( that soon became towering walls); havoc ran through their government; rapid drain of supplies (food, water…) ; and the devastation of the people (loss of their loved ones, hunger, lack of medical supplies and treatment…).

"ini untukku?" tanyanya setelah itu yang sudah meraih botol minuman itu. "jadi tadi kau membuat ini?" dan mulai meneguk minuman favoritnya itu. "massiso." ujarnya. Dan sedetik kemudian menatapku, yang sedari tadi hanya diam menatapnya. Aku terlalu shock melihat perlakuannya terhadapku.
It took Daniel a long time to accept the fact that he had actually time traveled. In his previous life, he had died in 2028 meaning he went back 23 years. Reincarnation and time-traveling was a lot for someone to take in. Daniel felt a sense of isolation but also noticed a sense of opportunity.
