Therefore, my suggestion is simple: give it a read!
Firstly, this is a deliberately slow-paced academy-themed novel that heavily emphasizes character interactions. Long, dialogue-driven scenes, which delve into the emotional and internal thoughts of characters, span across multiple chapters, making it suitable for those who appreciate in-depth conversations. For those who dislike novels with extensive dialogue and a slower tempo, this might not be their cup of tea.
Our protagonist is introduced to this new world in an unfavorable situation, with average stats and an ordinary spearman profession compared to others with extraordinary or legendary roles. Recognizing the need to survive and contribute to saving the world, he is relentless in improving his abilities, even if it means risking his life (quite literally) to do so. The character is intelligent, focused, and not oblivious, bringing a fresh dynamic to the action sequences, which play a significant role in the story.
Romance is a substantial component, with the protagonist's non-dense nature elevating the appeal (far superior to many romance-laden Japanese novels featuring annoyingly dense leads). He has multiple potential love interests, including fellow students, instructors, and nurses, and the narrative provides insights into their perspectives, providing a well-rounded view. The MC is cautious and deliberate, only fully accepting a romantic interest after clear signs and mutual acknowledgment.

Part 3:
With all of my rants about how absolutely horrible the first 300 chapters or so were, I can confirm that it does get way better from 300s and onward. I don't know what type of substance the author decided to shoot up but he should definitely do more of that, because the MC finally starts thinking on his own and decides to take matters into his own two hands because he realises he won't be able to get anywhere if he just keeps on depending on his cheat code. He fights his own fights way more often (even though the average amount of fights is still below other cultivation books), and his character becomes more dependable and less naive compared to the beginning.
One other that I liked, aside from the author fleshing out the world by introducing a somewhat intriguing plot, is the different inter-relationships between the clans around the MC and how they interact with each other.
The comments say this sucks, so I'm going to read this just to spite them. It probably sucks but whatever. I can drop it off it gets bad
