The storyline became overwhelming. The main character (MC) is portrayed as excessively passive, with minimal support from others aside from his childhood friend, who ultimately betrayed him due to the machinations of the main antagonist (ML). Even the doctor, despite having good intentions, couldn't help much. The MC's existence seems to revolve around eliciting sympathy, a quality I find unappealing. Though he is mentally vulnerable, the trials he endures, particularly in pursuit of marriage and avoiding humiliation, are excessive.
At times, I can't help but wonder how different his life might have been if he had actually wed [Redacted/Spoiler]. Unfortunately, the ML consistently ruins any potential for happiness for MC.

2. Although the romantic aspect can be entertaining, it appears formulaic, with the protagonist following the system's directives without personal attachment. Initially, she doesn't have strong feelings for the male lead, and genuine affection develops gradually throughout the narrative.
3. A redeeming aspect of the novel is the character development, as the protagonist's family undergoes positive transformations and learns from their mistakes.
4. The plot lacks constant excitement, and there are moments when it becomes less engaging. However, there are also enjoyable moments to be found.
Overall, while the book might not be a rollercoaster of emotions, it offers some growth and occasional charm amidst its unconventional romance dynamics.

heck this story is much cunfusing than i thought...
On a side note, I made it to chapter 218 and I just can't go any farther. It's too random and nonsensical. Like the author couldn't get their thoughts aligned and I just can't do it anymore. A book shouldn't give you a headache trying to follow the story.
I quite enjoyed reading this completed series. The MC has a lot of common sense and uses his head while dealing with situations. While he won't hesitate to kill his enemies and literally stab their necks, he's also not one of those insufferable edge-lords who kill for petty reasons. Furthermore his friends are loyal and strong and there is absolutely no romance or one-sided love between him and a female friend.
Furthermore the power and concept of necromancy is very well executed and the author came up with many interesting related abilities. So I can recommend this series to anyone who wants a bit more mature characters and not the usual loser-to-hero shtick or chuuni characters.

Understandable. No worries if you can't remember anything, it's just because you recommended this novel, you seem to have an eye for quality.
The categories I'm thinking of are pretty generic, tbh. Basically: isekai, ancient world but not medieval fantasy. Some sort of time ability would be cool, but those are in short supply. Reverend Insanity is pretty good. I've tried out the Perfect Run, but I'm not into it. What really interests me is just if you've seen anything with the same level of writing as this novel.
Mother of Learning was one of my first ever light novels, and it's fantastic.
