DevilDarkness
"Lu Zhiye, I want a hug." I need a minute. I literally had to put the book down after reading that line. Let me explain why this destroyed me. In her previous life, she never got to do this. She never got to touch him, to hold him, to be close to him before everything went to hell. And now here she is, perched on a wall like some kind of dramatic heroine, looking down at this boy who is still ALIVE, still whole, and she just — she can't hold it in anymore. She jumps down, he catches her, and she says those words. Not 'I love you.' Not 'I missed you.' Something even more vulnerable: 'I want a hug.' And Lu Zhiye's reaction? Oh man. His body tenses. His ears go red. He pushes her away but his fingertips TREMBLE. The author writes: 'But the faint tremor left in his fingertips betrayed him.' That's it. That one detail tells us everything. He's not as cold as he's trying to be. Then later, when he comes to find her alone in the classroom and says 'Stay away from me,' and she says 'I won't' — and he leaves, and she smiles because 'at the very least… he had come to find her in person' — that's character work at its finest. He's trying to push her away but he can't stay away. She's reading his tells like a book. We're reading BOTH of their tells. The dynamic between them is already so rich after just a few chapters. She knows everything about him from her past life. He has no idea who she really is. That imbalance is delicious tension.

Dear Translator,
It seems there's an issue. Every time I attempt to read this fantastic story, I end up being redirected to the NovelUpdates main page. It’s been quite some time since I last read it, and I’m eager to dive back in. I’ve tried refreshing the page and even waited to see if the issue would resolve itself, which it did briefly, but then the problem returned. I’d rather not keep repeating the process of refreshing and waiting, so could you or someone else assist me?
By the way, for anyone wondering whether this story is worth reading, it absolutely is. The narrative is filled with comedic moments, heartwarming family and friend interactions, and a lovable child character. What more could you ask for?
, I hope this issue gets resolved soon, and I encourage everyone to give this story a chance. Thanks!
Edit: The issue has been fixed, thank you so much to whoever resolved it.
Best regards,
[Your Name]
What I enjoyed about this novel:
The story resonated with me due to its similarity to "Black Tech Internet Cafe." I appreciated the concept where the main character shares Earth culture in his new surroundings. The introduction of various products and observing the public's reactions were engaging.
Dislikes:
I found it unrealistic that the market wasn't affected by the constant consumption of high-grade spirit stones during each upgrade. This lack of noticeable impact became repetitive as the plot followed a predictable pattern: app release, skepticism, popularity, revenue, leveling up, villain interference, conflict, conversation with the female companion. After around chapter 300, I skimmed over fight scenes and interactions with the harem, focusing more on the impact of the protagonist's new products on others.
I was honestly just inserting a stereotype, wasn’t really being serious; but I do not like reading with female mc’s since they do not appeal to me, and I dislike harem genere as a whole which added to my distasteful comment.
So is MC stupid/naive?
