DevilDarkness
It has potential. There are errors in every sentence and the story isn't that original but the phoenix has a nice twist to it which gives potential. Female lead is very weak, stupid and cries a lot. It honestly could be better if the author went and edited it. Seems like it was written by a teenager

It’s a great book but are we going to have to wait until we are old age to get to read more? The updates are really slow…
Let me just say this: the stakes in this story are deceptively high. On the surface, it's about a job at a paper mill. One packaging position. But underneath? It's about survival, dignity, and who gets to control their own destiny. Qin Yajuan's situation is genuinely desperate. Her family is a widowed mother and orphan daughter — no father, no safety net. In her previous life, she had to scheme and manipulate to survive. Now she's trying a softer approach, but the desperation is the same. When she says her mother has written three letters in less than a month asking about a job, that's not just an excuse — that's her actual reality pressing against her. But Xu Jingchu's stakes are different and maybe even higher. She's not just fighting for a job; she's fighting for the right to define herself on her own terms. Remember what she told Qin Yajuan: "If it's something you've seized for yourself, I'll fight you for it." This isn't about greed. It's about principle. It's about not letting someone who's been sheltered by the Lin family dictate what Xu Jingchu deserves. The Lin couple's dilemma adds another layer. They prefer Xu Jingchu but also rely on her for household help. They're trying to be fair — offering Qin Yajuan the job while compensating Xu Jingchu, or finding better opportunities for both. But their well-intentioned planning shows how little they understand the real emotional dynamics at play. And Lin Tingjun? His stake is the quietest but maybe the most vulnerable. He's watching Xu Jingchu study through a crack in her door. He's helping her with homework even though he claims he's too busy. He's caught between his sister's schemes and his own growing attachment, and he doesn't have the emotional vocabulary to navigate it yet. Every conversation in these chapters is a collision of interests. I'm genuinely worried for everyone involved.
This is a very interesting piece... nice plot, amazing character development
