The plot of the Korean transmigration-to-game story is quite typical. However, the build-up and the showdown with the senior character turned out to be rather愚蠢. There are numerous other narratives that excel in comparison.
I usually don't comment this early, but the NU page for this particular story deserves a better rating than it currently has. For now, I'll give it a 4, as it certainly doesn't warrant the numerous 1-star ratings.
The story itself, despite being only 23 chapters in, has caught my interest. The setting is intriguing, and there are some emotionally charged moments. However, these dramatic scenes stem from misunderstandings and poor communication. A significant portion of the early conflicts revolves around the main character's lack of interaction with his ex, considering their complicated history.
I find the two female leads appealing, and based on the harem ending mentioned by another reviewer, I'm open to the concept. Although I disagree with their assessment of the ex, I must admit I've enjoyed their presence so far. It could still get worse, as I'm not up-to-date, but for now, it's satisfactory.
My main issue lies with the backstory, particularly a flashback around chapter 20. Here's where the plot hole arises: the protagonist is manipulated and cursed by the FL's malicious parent and a conniving lord. The plan is well-crafted, but it doesn't make sense given the situation. Since the protagonist is already cursed and his future is ruined, they hold no leverage. He could easily expose their treachery and bring down their scheme, which is a serious crime against the crown. Yet, inexplicably, he complies.
This reaction baffles me, and it feels like a convenient plot device. Despite that glaring inconsistency, I appreciate the emotional undertones between the main character and his ex, the camaraderie with his mage friend (who might be a strong harem contender), and the combination of knights, magic, and aura. The setting is also appealing.
In conclusion, the story isn't flawless, but it's not deserving of the low ratings it's received either. There's potential for a compelling narrative if the plot holes are addressed or explained satisfactorily.

Personally, I like this almost slice-of-life fantasy even though I usually am not a fan of slow-burn action and the world-building is fantastic it feels like there is so much to explore. At the same time, it's bringing in conversations comedic enough to give more than a few chuckles. I like but your opinions are always yours to have.
