"YES!!! At last! Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention! I've caught up with the latest manhwa chapter after devouring it on Bilibili Comics. It's truly amazing, and I'm confident that the original novel will be just as fantastic!"
I stopped reading after the fifth chapter due to poor translation quality. The writing is稚嫩, riddled with grammatical errors, and the descriptions and word choices are unsatisfactory, making the reading experience quite frustrating. Based on the limited content I've seen, it neither stands out as exceptionally engaging nor poorly executed; it struck me as average.
If you're not concerned about translation quality, you might consider giving it a chance, but if you value a polished translation, I'd recommend looking for another novel with a competent translator.
First, I read the translated chapters, followed by my own rough translation of the rest. The love story aspect can be described as a typical high school fantasy, where the female lead (FL) is surrounded by a group of charming, yet young and inexperienced boys. Although there might be potential for drama, the author seems to prioritize the FL's academic journey, steering clear of unnecessary conflicts.
Spoilers ahead:
The author skips over the emotional roller coaster experienced by Shi Chen due to her mother's complicated relationships and the eventual revelation, leaving readers curious about the aftermath.
Similarly, the subplot involving FL's brother's mother and the drama it could bring is not fully explored. After Shi Chen confronts her mother about the betrayal, the story takes a different turn without delving deeper.
Questions arise: What happens to Jin Yan, her lover and Jin Shin's father? What's the fate of Wan Yue? How would the Jin family react if they discovered Wan Yue's existence, especially Jin Shang? And how would the Shi family, particularly Shi Chen and his father, handle the situation if they learned about her relationship?
Ideally, the author could provide satisfying resolutions for the supporting characters, like giving them happy endings and romantic connections, like in the original story where Nan Xiao ends up with Tong Lu. These loose ends leave readers wanting more, which is why I decided to search for the additional five chapters, hoping they might provide some answers. Apologies for only having access to the first 90 chapters, and discovering there are extra ones later on.
Nope it's stacking it's almost over at this point
crazy how people can have such different perceptions of novels. My experience in the last arc was the exact opposite every pillar was like it's own boss fight building up to the big finale. I do see how you can complain about how everyone besides Kevin, and Ren were useless. Frankly, the arcs leading up to the finale got dull for me.
Woah i read 600 chapter in just 5 days, btw this story is amazing fortunately, i really love slow burn romance
Also be aware that the mc of this novel will spare every girl that she fight, like every girl. Hell spare them because their beautiful, and he said so himself soooo, dont waste your time
Warning. THE CHAPTERS ARE INCOMPLETE.
I only got to chapter 23 before it really annoyed me. At least from chapter 1 to 23 they are all cut off and incomplete. I gave up but I hope those that are stronger would be able to find the complete thing.
I see a harem tag & I automatically leave the novels page on the spot.
The tl is kinda dog, but I like this story. I’d give this a 7/10 so far.
Edit: there’s also times where there’s some “Chinese wisdom” about women, saying “when a girl has someone to rely on, she’ll become feeble, since she becomes accustomed to relying. ” Wth China?
Highest is 9, but Greem might have reached the theoretical 10th if author hadn't killed the story for whatever reason.
"Marvel As Shazam" is an exhilarating roller-coaster ride through the realm of superheroes, capturing my imagination with its blend of nostalgia and fresh storytelling. The protagonist's transformation from an ordinary teenager to an unstoppable force of good is both heartwarming and awe-inspiring. The character development is commendable, and the balance of humor and action keeps me hooked till the very end. A must-read for fans of Marvel, it reminds us that sometimes, true power lies within us all.
