An Zhe at first was so mad that the spore ignored him and it went for Lu Feng little did he know the spore is actually him (yes he died at first but was reborn), i liked every single thing in this novel , characters , plot , writing , details, literally everything , it's a real masterpiece , i cried alot when An Zhe died :( and when he cried in Lu Feng's arms (hugging) but i recommened it :D ! if i catch anyone saying "why there's no smut its boring without it?" I'll rip their limps cuz the novel is so good and smut would ruin it literally ? like look at An Zhe when he got SA (first chapters ig) he was confused scared not knowing what's happening ?, NOW READ IT ITS REALLY GOOD (i cant stop yapping)

I like the novel, but it has the same problem that similar novels often face: the main character could theoretically increase his strength at a rapid pace, but he’s held back by one thing: **morality**. His grandmother outright offered to help him earn soul points, but he refused simply because she’s his grandmother. Seriously, that’s frustrating. Because of his moral compass, he’s ignoring opportunities that could potentially save his and his family’s lives. He was told that there are entire organizations stronger than even the empire that has started hunting him, yet he keeps making foolish decisions that could prove fatal. One such decision is his failure to make a soul contract with the branch of his family he discussed overthrowing the empire with. It’s foolish—he’s been betrayed twice already, but it seems he hasn’t learned anything from those experiences. Also, this idiot isn’t even trying to track down his former friend who betrayed and killed him, even though that same friend knows about the artifact. His wife also told him there’s a high chance that people will hunt him for it. On top of that, Alexander's previous soul specifically asked him to take care of the children he had with that same friend’s wife, to prevent that friend from killing them too, but he hasn’t even thought about them yet. It’s also frustrating how he went against his entire family over the maid. It’s irrational to oppose those who are supposed to accept you as their leader for such a reason. If he had simply removed her from her position as a maid and taken her as a concubine, it would have been understandable. However, the way he handled the situation only highlighted his lack of necessity and impulsiveness. For God’s sake, he’s 60 years old in Alexander’s body and also about 30 years old as Jack, meaning he has lived for a total of 90 years. Yet he still doesn’t demonstrate a satisfactory level of maturity, despite spending many years at war.
This novel is a brilliant creation, engaging from start to finish. The author’s storytelling genius is clear in the deeply developed characters and elaborate plot. Every twist and turn kept me enthralled, making it difficult to put the book away. The writing is both polished and approachable, painting vivid pictures that immerse you in the narrative.
I like the way he explains things in detail in a way that makes the reader have a clear image of the scenery and the characters which helps a lot with the immersion
I added this book to my library , although the updating is not steady ,I really love the progression of the book and characters . this is one of the best palace books I have read . keep up Author

This book has some margin for improvement.The chapters are really short. Still, the fact that the chapters are short make the story somewhat fresh and light, and this I like very much.But…The writing is a bit confusing a few times. I get that the author is trying to capture the scene in a… let’s say "spontaneous" way, but this strains readability, and curiously, verisimilitude.So far neither the characters nor the works have much depth, making it hard for me to relate to the story.All in all, not my cup of tea, but I hope the author keeps improving.
