The beginning is intense, but it loses some momentum temporarily. However, it picks up significantly and keeps escalating. Reflecting on the initial chapters, I'm genuinely surprised by the depth of character development, even for those initially portrayed as comedic relief. Ok. The novel quality itself is good but It have too much plot armor. I cannot stand it anymore, the plot armor is very obvious and not logical. It prevents the MC from making money when there are already so many ways to do so but prevented by shallow excuses. Like in the ancient ruin, it is obvious that they prevented disaster but was not rewarded. Second, when he was provoked by iron adventurers, if it is common sense he will make those to pay for damages instead he willingly pay for it. Then it was when they killed a wolf, it was said that they can profit from it but they chose not because they have no knives and many more. Hayst if he was broke he must be eager to earn money but he was against common sense.
every time I see a cool title and a cool cover and get excited to start a new story, only to scroll down and see that damned 'Harem' tag.
