I'm guessing this has been dropped
I tried to read this novel for two reasons, 1st because it has few chapters, 2nd because my three favorite novels are by this author, and honestly this novel was pretty boring, it didn't have the same impact as his other novels, my opinion of course

I suggest you read this. It's concise and impactful. The story revolves around a kind-hearted girl who is often taken advantage of due to her generosity. She has a crush on a man who doesn't reciprocate her kindness or appreciate her sacrifices. Despite their five-year relationship as fake lovers to help him become immortal, he fails to express gratitude upon leaving, leaving her heartbroken.
A demonic creature then appears, attempting to manipulate her into selfishness by promising to fulfill her deepest desire if she offers her heart. However, unexpectedly, he falls in love with her. In the end, the female lead (FL) recognizes the true nature of the man but chooses not to care, while the male lead (ML) undergoes a transformation and vows to wait for her, no matter how many lifetimes it takes. Lastly, the FL's initial love realizes his love too late and dedicates his life to emulate her selflessness, just as she had shown him.

The "naive protagonist" part is just because he transmigrated from another world, just lack of knowledge at the beginning. . .
It was so good and Wholesome but the only thing that disappointed me is the lack of conflict, at first it has the excitement you can feel because of the problem with Old man Yang's family. But as this Novel near its end, they forgot to give spice and only sweetness that it became tiring to read. But overall it's a good and great.
