This is yet another great book of yours. Fast paced storyline with a great plot. Written well and causing me to want more of this book. Keep up the awesome work author I’m reading down your list.
loved reading this book...
Truly unique. This story reads like poetry with deep internal dialogues. The magic is in the verbiage and not in the story. Not titillating, no overt magic, and not a power play story. Abrupt ending with no release, but that’s ok because emphasis is on how the story is told not the actual events.
Exciting! Thanks for the updates, looking forward for the next chapter(s). Wink
The storyline was very captivating and made it hard to stop reading. Although this is part of a series, I really like that it stands on its own. Great job to the author.
thank you for letting us know. hope you are feeling better soon!
I can’t wait for more chapters to this book.
OK so on the surface this looks like a cozy story about a girl selling chestnuts, right? Cute. Wholesome even. BUT THEN. Right at the end when Yinxing is happily climbing back over the wall with her full basket, the text says: 'Hidden in the shadows, a pair of eyes silently opened a contact chat box.' And then we get this exchange: [Zero: Boss, the target has left the safe zone. Is there a need to bring her back? The safe zone issued an abnormal plant energy riot notice. A mutated plant in the forest has upgraded; the mission team estimates it at S-rank.] Three seconds later: [No need to interfere.] 'Yinxing, who on earth are you?' I literally dropped my phone. The stakes just went from 'kid tries to earn credits' to 'something S-RANK is lurking in the forest and someone named Zero is watching her every move.' And Lin Ling bringing her squad—scarred guy, yellow-haired An Yu, the whole team—arriving in a modified off-road vehicle because they heard about her low-contamination crops? That's not just business, that's protection. That's alliances forming. Yinxing thinks she's just a nobody selling vegetables, but everyone around her is treating her like she matters. The riot notice, the S-rank mutation, the surveillance, the squad showing up—all of this is a pressure cooker building toward something huge. And the scariest part? Yinxing has NO IDEA any of this is happening. She's just happy about her 101 credits and her new 'Sister Lin.' The dramatic irony is KILLING me. What happens when she finds out?
A very good story
