Best novel on trial read this week so far, but that doesn't mean much.MC ability is so OP he could reshape the world in his favor, but he just goes around killing those that offend him and for some reason learns boxing.It would take one second for him to find out how to save his girlfriend, but no. He has to learn boxing.MC has the combined brain power of 3 fleas, but that is still not enough for him to avoid being identified literally the first time he acts. It is almost like the author gave the MC an ability that is too OP for the world, so he had to reshape his own creation to increase word count.For once I want an intelligent MC, who can actually do something without sabotaging himself at every turn.

*Squints at the cover* nvm nvm. Face smacking novels can never go wrong. Well except if it gets very racist *cough* superstar *cough* looking forward to this novel. Here's a balanced out rating till i get to read the real stuff.
Slow read but interesting subject matter. Hopefully the plot will thicken as I continue on and the pace will quicken. Otherwise I believe I will move on to a different title.
The picture has the author as "Lin Hai Ting Tao" same as another book we have at the same time (different picture) here to vote on.. we really should get multiple authors though and have total votes RESET to 0 each week on any that did not win the prior week, otherwise even horrible books will eventually get passed because their votes continually add up!anyway, the author on the cover picture says Lin Hai Ting Tao, but underneath the book in typing /text on the webpage it has someone else, named Forest Listens to the Waves.My voting was base don not reading the chapters as they have not been released here in English for me TO read, how can i then vote on things such as character development? I did give Translation Quality a 1 because the book name is not same as the typed name of author below it. but the rest I have 3, exactly average not good nor bad, since I haven't read any chapters, then not being released yet!I am not into reading a book based on soccer, BOTH of them say same soccer so PASS.Be well!
I've contemplated making this review for a couple days now.I usually rate fairly, as in how good translation, character, etc. was. But I can't do that for this novel.This novel has a 1 free chapter every 3 premium chapters release type. What this means is that if the story ends around chapter 2320, it'll have 1400 premium chapters (because premium started around chapter 220), that all cost between 10-24 spirit stones with an average of 14. Reason I bring this up is because it's about 2300 chapters and ongoing. What that means is that the story has to be worth that huge amount of money for us readers to spend on it.I thought it was kinda worth it up till this point.You see, a couple chapters ago, a person did something the MC couldn't do. Said thing is the thing that makes the MC stand out, because the MC is the only one that's supposed to be able to do this thanks to his "Xianxia-Boi Luck ". Because even though MC is more or less a monster in terms of power when compared to people in the best military academies, he couldn't even scratch the weakest point of a literally born seconds ago super-creature when the MC had all geno points other than super, as well as pobably all sacred buffs and gear that's available in the first sanctuary as well. Keep in mind that the brain is only slightly easier to damage than an eyeball, so if he couldn't even put a scratch on the newborn super creature, and it only got more powerful as the minutes ticked by, how is he supposed to hurt or even kill it even if its head was cracked open.However despite all this backstory to how powerful these supercreatures are, this one person killed an ***** super creature, that was injured, with the help of a couple hundred regular evolvers. Which is like you fighting an attack helicopter to the death, in an open field, whilst you have absolutely nothing but your own arms and legs, whilst the heli has 2 veteran pilots, 5 veteran gunners as well as infinite ammo, food, fuel and the heli won't experience wear or is affected by any weather.As you might understand, it is physically impossible to win such a fight. However, the writer decided that there was nothing wrong with the end result of this fight being you winning.The fact that the one who killed the super creature is a female also only means one thing, that they are basically the main love interest for this story and whatever person MC is currently together with will probably fade away in importance. Also, the MC appears to be monogamous, so i don't know how this has Harem tag.There's also the fact that the MC will start getting super geno points from fruit in the future as well. (I personally don't really care for how MC get's stronger, but I know that there's plotholes with this way of him getting stronger)So, with this information, are you willing to spend a couple hundred bucks on this story? I know I sure as **** don't. In fact, I want a refund of the 3400-5300 spirit stones that I've already spent on this story.P.S. when I write a review, it's because I've either finished the story or have lost all faith in the story fixing its mistakes, ie. given up on it.
This story is a true hidden gem, how this is ranked so low is beyond my imagination. Describing this story in one statement, "an Easter fantasy for readers who have grown out of the Eastern fantasy stories"There's few things that could be kept on mind while reading the first 50 chapters. 1. our mc is a frog in a well, really just a country bumpkin, his true journey begins at chapter 49 when he obtains a Master. 2. He obtains a ring very early in the story, the ring is powerful artifact and it wants to mold our mc into a worthy successor. 3. Despite his initial limited vision the mc can come up with decent workable(barely) solutions to his problems. 4. After he obtains his ring his first goal is to buy back his confiscated property, ( a true frog in the well ). Admirable but underwhelming but not beyond reason, he is after all merely a frog in a well. The story really starts opening after chapter 50. As long as the reader keep in mind the above mentioned points it's an endearing read.
This story is the definition of trash. The protagonist is the world's most unprofessional professional killer/mercenary. First chapter/prologue was fraught with vomit-inducing Chinese patriotism mumbo jumbo. The plot is fairly common but the fight scene is terrible. There is no suspense to the fight it just whoever possesses more mammoths/dragons either from their cultivation lever or weapon or concept win. I don't understand what the points of attack/defensive skill at all since all it seems to be a math problem. It only has 3 star rating on novelupdates which is a more accurate indicator of webfiction quality than this site's ratings. Unpalatable time waster at best.
The story is pretty cool. If I had to point out one problem, it would be the fact that the dialogue between the characters are a lil bit forced, but it's alright... also please give more updates the cliffhangers are literally causing me immense mental, physical, and astral pain.
Another amazing book by ADB. The details used are amazing and really help you visualize the story, as well as the amazing writing that draws you in. I can't wait to see where this story takes us!
This will be the last has a gripping intro and every chapter will leave you hanging! This is such a unique thriller because from the very beginning the culprit is already given. I'm tired of guessing, so this one's unique and is really a must read ... i can't wait for many more chapters to come!
