I need to talk about the emotional undercurrents because this book is doing things with tension that I didn't expect from a story that starts with a rooster being killed at 3 AM. First, the relationship between Jiang Mo and Iris — it's genuine warmth in a world that offers almost none. Iris isn't just a servant; she's someone who sees Jiang Mo, who gets starstruck by her, who defends her honor even when Jiang Mo herself doesn't care. That kind of loyalty is rare and precious. Then there's the ghost of the girl who froze in the snow outside Shen Zhengze's study. One paragraph, and I was devastated. She couldn't bear the loneliness, reached out for warmth, and was punished for it. Jiang Mo is doing the exact same thing — reaching out, building something, trying to survive — but she's smarter, more resourceful. The emotional stakes of her not ending up like that girl are enormous. And then Han You appears, and there's this tiny, almost invisible spark. He's the first person outside her circle who truly appreciates what she's created. Not her beauty, not her status, but her work. The way he savors every bite, the way he's genuinely confused that he's still hungry after finishing the bowl — it's intimate in a way that has nothing to do with romance. It's about being seen. Being understood. I'm already emotionally invested in this story, and we haven't even had a proper confrontation yet. The romance is going to hit different when it arrives because the foundation is already so solid.
Good pacing, great world building, grammar its smooth but slight tweaks then it all will be polished. Punctuations and paragraph spacing were good but their are some parts that needed to fixed and adjust but it doesn't mean the story is bad. It was good, and I highly recommended it, ?it has a potential to be contracted as it has a unique sense, and the author ideas was very refreshing in a sense that you could really relate to. Regarding the character not sure yet, as of now I only read few chapters, I still need to read further to see and understand the character deeply. Overall great work, to more ink!

I think it’s really interesting that this guy turned down a system that would’ve made him powerful get a lot of money and getting left over the system goes to the Academy will be pretty surprised and it would be hilarious AVI accidentally end up doing what was supposed to be the main mission of the whole system and now thanks to him for not on. He ended up like this. He has to deal with a half system the lesser half two.

Book is alright,,, but just to slow for me… mc is decent not smart but got potential.. I didn’t get that far ahead cause chapter lock, for such a slow book where roughly 15 chapter is spent in just school first day, investing in this is gonna be rough.i felt no excitement it was just plain.. if u got money to spent and time to wait for the thousands of chapters this book got a cool future.. but its not for me..
