Concept is good but when mixed with a purposefuly dense or stupid mc it completely ruined the flow.?
Captivating synopsis that gives you enough info to keep wondering what this novel's going to deliver. Great worldbuilding obviously. The world is told through Elior's eyes which in itself was natural. Nothing felt rushed, but this was also not a slow burned novel by any means. Think of it as being in the middle, giving you the reader a chance to know what this world is like.Characters are well established and solid, each having their own identity in early chapters. Can't wait to see how they develop even further. Elior himself is a breath of fresh air when we're talking protagonists, different from the other protagonists of books I've read on this site. Sure he's got things going on, but he faces them regardless. A balanced out character if you may based on the chapters I've read so far. This novel has a lot of things going on; comedy, mystery, action, adventure, as well as system and a dash of seriousness, that Elior has something to fight for. Recommended for anyone who's a fan of one of the novel tags, or all of them.
I enjoyed reading the story thus far. Everything, was written exceptionally well for the most part. Although, he/she got their possessive adjectives mixed up sometimes. Besides that, I don't have that many complaints when it comes to the story. Unfortunately, I can't continue supporting this book. The author has a tendency to be demeaning to his readers. If you don't believe me. Read his responses to me and others. His behavior is that of a child. I can't support someone like this. Good luck to him/her.
alright, I don't know if I already did a review or not, but now I'm feeling like doing it since I did read it a second time.
this is a hidden gem, the written quality is lifelike, I found no hardship understanding the story, it is a simple one yet it's kind of complicated.
the plot is kind of refreshing, it brings a change to the trash novels here.
as for the characters, one word, simple.
I can easily imagine the characters in my head.
the world background, it kind of smooth, you see when the author describes something I always kind of see it in my head.
recommend.
5/5 in everything it brings change to the word 'adventure', other novels that have the tag adventure do not understand the real meaning behind it.
even the fillers are kind of enjoyable, you don't even notice that it's a filler.

overall this novel while focusing on a villian MC purely comes off as a someone who is both OP, has ulimited resources and is almost omniscent compared to everyone else with his previous knowledge and meta knowledge of cultivator tropes, honestly it just isnt enjoyable at this point and actually takes away from a novel about cultivation/wuxia fantasy.
why am i not surprised that every single Chinese novel makes Japanese evil
Average novel with a bland story and characters so far what really kills it for me is a few spots that feel like in the original that something else was written but in this translation it is just a blank area
