SandKastle
Yo I've been stacking since 897 is there a good saving point at 892 to break my stack or should I keep stacking
I finished one of the authors other novels, "My disciple died yet again"
And I'm currently reading, "Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough"
I don't like stopping halfway through a story unless I've reached the end of the current chapters, as that leads to a higher chance of being spoiled.
Anyways, I've bumped this to the top of the list, and I'll be adding their third novel to my list as well.
Almost 900 chapters in & i don't really care to finish this
it wasn't a good translation, barely understandable if you read it slowly so i recommend just dropping this.
The tags and the title of the novel are completely wrong. They've attracted the wrong group of readers and set the wrong expectations, which leads to disappointment when you actually read it.
.
At first glance, you'd expect this novel to be an action-adventure where you follow the main character's journey towards his goal and watch him overcome obstacles. But this novel doesn't offer any of that.
.
Instead, this novel is purely a slice-of-life story where each chapter is all about the everyday lives of a group of people. Sure, there's some fighting and adventure, but that's only a side thing and never the main focus.
.
It's like starting to read Game of Thrones, expecting sword fights, wars, and dragons to be the main focus, but ending up disappointed because it's all about dialogue and politics.
.
If you like slice-of-life stories, you might find this novel enjoyable.
can you send the link brother
Fun novel to read while I wait for fooling the elderly into cultivation to update
Please update more chapters
I like reading the comments and reviews more. Specially on how our author here defends himself. I do say for sure he has blind confidence about his work. But please remember Mr. Author, not everyone can be pleased easily. As for the ones who gave their own opinions and reviews, please do remember that the author is writing this story/web novel using his own limited ideas/mind/brain, heck he might even be dreaming scenes for his story in his sleep before writing them. Amateur authors/writers are different from real authors/writers, most writers/authors are even graduate in these kind of fields, meaning they are already a master of their own craft, they even probably spend a lot time just to study (includes: higher English lv, grammar expert, story chart/flow etc... ) before writing their own work. Real expert writers will finish a volume of their work first, then spend a lot of time reviewing it and editing before posting them or publishing. Very different from most amateurs.
**: I am looking forward for more roasting. Xd
I have been on Webnovel a decent while. I've seen many novels. Even wrote a few in drafts I refuse to release. But all in all I doubt at this current point I've ever, ever made more than ten reviews, this included.
I'm posting this early because I don't want to wait too long and because I feel confident in explaining the intricacies of this as it is apart of a series by this author.
Post Apocalyptic Dispatch Service is about salvation.
The way it is presented is rather unique in how it tackles tropes and likes brought to life. Much like its Sibling books, it follows the path of heroes struggling to resist the systems, but this one focuses on the main casts journey to resist if not destroy the Grade 3 system apocalypse.
This will be an adventure of bringing hope and salvation to others. A journey of redemption and self forgiveness. A battle of impossible odds as Rhizen, the main character, rises to his place as the God King of luck.
Now for the boring stats
Pros:
Well designed Plot
Awesome Battle scenes and abilities
Deep Lore and foreshadowing
Excellent planning and subtle measures to make you question everything
Interesting characters and realistic occurrences.
Smart and devious opponents who knlw what they're about, what they're gonna do, and unashamedly act with cunning you expect from thousands of year old, deity like figures.
Reliable teammates, equally smart and capable Protagonist
Excellent world building, character development etc.
Con
Paranoia. I am by nature a philosopher and theorist. The author can Confirm this. As a senior fan I have guess the truth of many plot points and abilities. These will make you question everything and may or may not develop paranoia or madness....... neither I or the author will claim responsibility for you.
Withdrawal systems. I, can confirm these books are drugs. I have several books I should've released ages ago, but couldn't be bothered to because i was reading master pieces like this and didn't want to have to spend time updating and planning etc.
The author, Overlord is know to leave cliffhangers and likes to sadistaclly edge us.
Withdrawal systems make include : Outright cursing the author, inability inability sleep, constant checking of your webnovel library for updates, visiting the the discord our of boredom... and so forth.
more serious withdrawals may include spending lots of money on this book to force him to release more chapters.
Different people different results.
All in all, Highly recommend this books has alot of potential.
Interesting story, good write up and nice character design. kudos to the author of this book, more inks to your pen✍️✍️✍️ wanting for the next episode, I definitely want to know the name of the virus
I read the novel before it got completely revamped. Chapters got rewritten, and it definitely improved the overall writing quality of the book. Although he doesn't have an extensive vocabulary, the story is still good and I do like it. The releases weren't constant, but they were there. I love how the novel is going right now so my review is a bit biased, but I have hopes for the novel as It grows and exceeds 100 chapters.
