I like the system! Synopsis catches, in any case I want to see the first chapter. 8 chapters and more than 4 thousand views indicate that the novel is interesting, since so many people watched it! Especially the novel began to be published only on January 11!The beginning is humorous, and realistic! Of course in the morning traffic, everyone goes to work! If you know what else is "acne"?Old families? Would it be more detailed? Not aristocrats and not the bourgeoisie? Who then? Artisans? Masters? Workers? Employees? but then they don’t pull on old families ?! Maybe the peasants ?! They definitely have a lot of secrets and historical artifacts preserved! They are the salt of the earth! Someone from the classics said! The description of the third world nemngo resembles the Japanese anime "Higashi no Eden" by Kenji Kamiyama, whose name is a flip-flop of the classic novel by American writer John Steinbeck "East of Eden" (Wikipedia article). In the 21st century it is difficult to write something original, something original, most of the ideas have already been voiced by someone in their works.Government of the Earth? This is Star Trek, 1965! Honestly, it’s hard to imagine, even after 100 years, if you look at the modern world and the contradictions in it. Where world law is worth nothing. You can kill a person with the click of a finger sending a drone across the ocean. Some are allowed to have a nuclear weapon, while others are prohibited. It is hard to believe that people of different nationalities will be able to agree in just 100 years ?! Not realistic! But it’s probably fantastic, maybe common sense will work there, and ambitions and inter-friends will be a thing of the past? But 1 chapter per day with your good writing, and interesting content and this is apparently not raw but already edited text, this is really cool! Keep up the pace of the novel! My question is how many chapters will be approximately in the novel?I liked it, brought it to the library. I will read, since there is a system! Thanks to the author for such an interesting work, I hope to read another 50 chapters before the novel goes into premium mode ?!

I have to talk about this one scene because it's genuinely cinematic and I think the author is doing something really clever with the setting. The Cuiping Nunnery is described as having "many courtyards of different sizes" and "many scenic spots throughout the grounds." It's winter, flowers and plants have withered, but there's still "quiet natural beauty" in the rocks and green bamboo. This is already establishing a mood — cold, restrained, but not dead. There's life underneath. Then you have the Mirror Stone. An enormous, almost perfectly round stone standing upright like a giant bronze mirror. And when the Empress Dowager and Old Madam step behind it, they completely disappear from view. Lin Suisui and Nanny Yan are left standing far away, and the text specifically says they look less like people waiting and more like "they were keeping watch, making sure no one approached." This is such a good use of physical space to create narrative tension. The stone acts as a literal and metaphorical barrier — behind it, two powerful women have a private conversation about poison and political assassination. In front of it, a skinny little maid and an old nanny stand guard, and the maid gives an order that the nanny obeys without question. The entire power structure of this scene is communicated through who can see whom and who is hidden from whom. The nunnery itself is interesting too. It's where the Empress Dowager has withdrawn to avoid conflict with the Emperor and Consort Dowager Shen. She came here because she was "tired of constantly clashing." But the Old Madam dreams about this place — "Every time I close my eyes, I dream of Cuiping Nunnery." The Bodhisattva apparently guided her here. Whether that's divine intervention or just narrative coincidence, the author is using this religious setting to frame the entire political struggle as something with cosmic stakes. I keep coming back to that image of two elderly women disappearing behind a giant round stone while a child and an old servant stand guard. It's got to be one of the most visually striking scenes in this batch.
Just love this book
your stories are really good but the female lead have tap of tears open can't be they brave and not cry that much
There's a symbol running through this entire section that I can't stop thinking about, and it's not the one you'd expect. Everyone's going to talk about the courtroom or the warehouse, but I want to talk about the USB drive. Think about it. Three years of hidden accounts, blood and sweat money, kickbacks, hush-money transfers, dual contracts—all of it, compressed into a device that fits in your palm. The weight of eight years of a man's guilt, stored on silver metal. Wang Fang describes it as looking at a ticking time bomb. And Lin Wanwan feels it like carrying a stone. This USB is everything. It's the truth that the system tried to bury. It's the invisible labor of exploited artists made visible. It's a husband's eight years of silent suffering, externalized into something tangible that can be held, passed, weaponized. The fact that it was hidden under a bed board—under the most intimate piece of furniture in a home, the place where a family rests at night—adds another layer. The truth was sleeping next to them every night, and they didn't dare touch it. And then there's Capital Bane. The name itself is a symbol. Capital—the money, the system, the industry that devours people. Bane—the poison, the weakness, the thing that brings them down. This anonymous figure is the system's own creation turning against it. The blood money has a ghost, and that ghost is fighting back. The recurring motif of eyes is also worth noting: Lin Wanwan activating her Eye of Truth, Wang Fang's glistening eyes in the darkness, Li Jianguo's ashen face, the artists' eyes filled with accusation. Seeing and being seen is the central tension of this story. The exploited want to be seen. The exploiter wants everyone blind. And truth—real, undeniable truth—is the lens that changes everything. What is this story really about, beneath the courtroom drama and the entertainment industry setting? It's about the weight of silence and the explosive power of someone finally saying: I see you. I see what they did. And I'm not afraid anymore.
I originally read this book on wattpad and was so sad when it wasn't being updated, but I'm so glad I can read it here, but also sad that not all the chapters from wattpad have been posted.
Love love love this book, cried like a baby at the end!!!
plz we need a chapter today
such a great book
the story is excellent! The author needs to get the Grammarly app as that would help with the atrocious spelling and grammar. I don't want to wait for the continuation of the story.
