This is one of my favorite novels but it only has one fault and it is the author barely updates it. It really sucks because to me this book is a 10/10. The character developments is the best ive ever seen and you would also end up loving this novel. But when you end up up to the latest chapters you start to forget all about it.
Mass Release today 5-7 Chapters will be posted. stay tuned...️
whew...nice nice last chap
The pacing in this batch is genuinely impressive. Let me walk through how the author moves us from one emotional register to another without any jarring transitions. We start with the most domestic, almost sleepy morning scene—Mu Youyou making multigrain pancakes, Gu Beiting hoeing the backyard, mung bean soup in a water bottle. It's so calm you could fall asleep reading it. Then Li Yumei invites her to the village, we get worldbuilding through shopping and chatter about Wang Guihua, and everything is pleasant and unhurried. Then—BAM. She goes up the mountain, spots a rabbit, chases it, falls down a steep hillside, and can't climb back up. The chapter title literally says 'MU YOUYOU FALLS DOWN THE HILLSIDE.' The shift from 'let's buy some seeds' to 'I might be stuck on a mountain' happens so fast but it doesn't feel rushed because the author gives us the rabbit chase as a bridge. She's distracted by food, which is so character-consistent. Then Gu Beiting's arrival—the sprint from the training ground, the five-minute climb, finding her sickle on the ground, calling her name. The tension is real. And then it deflates immediately into something tender: 'Don't cry!' 'Really?' 'Yes, but you must promise me.' And then—mission departure. He's leaving in a few days. The chapter ends with her in his room, seeing his abs, and him smiling outside the door. From domestic calm to life-threatening danger to romantic fluster to impending separation, all in one batch. No dragging, no filler. Every scene earns its place.
This book is something else, love it sooo much

Love this book!! Great story line, love the characters. Bravo!
why these books cost so much and they never have a ending I'm starting to think they are robbing us out of our money. I spent over 80$ so far. another book 150$ no ending. it's like they just starting writing anything. what happened to the fire star and ice star he grabbed yet never used????? I need
waiting for the next chapter
