Judging by what I have read so far it looks like this story has a lot of potential.

It was a great read!
It's been ages since I last read a horror novel! Although this isn't strictly horror, it offers such a unique and invigorating experience. I really enjoy it!
Additionally, despite there being no explicit Yuri tags, for some reason my thoughts always gravitate towards a Yuri storyline. Is it the narrative that suggests it, or am I just being more imaginative than usual?

They are Chinese. They put importance to being patriotic more and it's been in their culture for a long time now. I'm not sure if you're new to Chinese novels but these kind of things are quite normal so expect racism on some novels if you're really new here.
