This was a really good book!
Loved the ending so awesome hope to read the children's story
Like your stories, but your characters having similar names is confusing. I had re-read bloodlust series and still unsure if Val and Vic along with their parents are the same as in this series. If you are able to give insight it would be great. Thanks in advance!
I just want more Asher and Serena moments without any third wheel:)
my one and only favourite novel...️...️...️

I am checking this app repeatedly because of this book. author please release the next update, I'm dying for it
I love the fact that females are the leads! Makes it more interesting with all the emotions! Not only that, they have to show male emotions as well! Love stories at its best! Keep writing and I’ll keep reading! ...
I have not read a book of your that I don’t like. I wish it was finished cause it’s one of those that you start reading and can’t stop. I look forward to future books!
The atmosphere in this batch is UNREAL. Let me paint you the picture: scorching sun, dusty wilderness road, a convoy of chained exiles, and this one woman walking with her back perfectly straight like she's strolling through a garden. The contrast between the brutal environment and Sang Wanwan's calm demeanor creates this incredible visual tension. The author really knows how to write heat. 'Rows of sharp barbs gleamed beneath the blazing sun.' 'The scorching wind swept across the wilderness, carrying clouds of hot dust that stung people's eyes.' You can FEEL the discomfort. Every character is suffering — the women shrinking from the whip, the old nanny trembling, the concubines complaining about cracked lips — and Sang Wanwan is just... there. Untouchable. Her chains clank with every step but her posture never breaks. And then there's Zhao Tieniu's breakdown scene, which is honestly one of the most vividly disturbing sequences I've read. The text goes into such gruesome detail — 'five bloody gashes instantly appeared. Skin split open. Blood poured out.' 'Long, horrifying scratches covered his body. Blood mixed with dirt until he resembled a living blood-soaked gourd.' I had to pause and recover. The author didn't hold back on making us feel the horror of what that powder does. But what I love most is how the setting enhances the power dynamics. This is nowhere. No one to hear the screams. No authority figures nearby except the guards, and even THEY are too terrified to approach. The wilderness becomes Sang Wanwan's stage, and everyone else is just an audience to her revenge.
it's a very intriguing story
dragging and dragging and dragging hmmmm
