CAESAR20
One of the best written stories I've read on the app so far! I wish I could figure out how the gems work- you deserve them!
I hope Althea gets her revenge at the end......
Excellent book. Just a bit too graphic about the sexual encounters. But, stills food book.
So good so far. Please describe what the characters look like. At this point everyone is ambiguous just like the girl on the cover photo. I’m assuming she’s Black from the cover photo but I’m sure I’m wrong.
...............
if her mom's a witch then that would make her a witch not human if she is in fact her biological mother
Interesting story
I really love books that give her someone 100 times better than the one who rejected her.
The stakes in this section are layered in a way that keeps you on edge. On the surface, Qiao Shuang was attacked and nearly killed — that's life-or-death personal stakes. But underneath that, there's the political stakes: the Empress is manipulating events from behind the scenes, the capital's security is compromised, and the Qiao family is now a target. Song Yuejiao is caught in the middle of all of this, and the system's presence adds another dimension — she's not just a person in danger, she's a host with a supernatural advisor watching her back. What's interesting is how the personal and political conflicts intersect. Duan Yuyan's warning about the Empress isn't just gossip — it's the result of her overhearing something real. And her motivation for warning Song Yuejiao isn't purely altruistic either; she says 'Yue Jiao is really all I have.' This is someone who has everything to lose — a fragile friendship that might be her only genuine connection in a hostile family environment. If the Empress harms Song Yuejiao, Duan Yuyan loses her only anchor. Meanwhile, Pei Chi is dealing with his own conflict — the Princess Xue'an keeps pursuing him despite his clear disinterest, and now that he's topped the exam, her attention is only going to increase. The stakes for him are social and political reputation. And Song Yuejiao? She's navigating an arranged engagement with a guy she's awkward around while her mother is recovering from an assassination attempt and her best friend is warning her about the Empress. Everyone in this story is walking a tightrope, and the author makes you feel every wobble.

I am in love with part VI of this book. I read each chapter more than 3 times. Good work author ?
This book is as weird as its cover. Also the backstory didnt make any sense. A lot of f*cking around, thats it.
