Why is it that about chapter 54/55 that the whole tone of the book changes? It feels like another author has taken over and the focus of the book switches to other characters. The first 54 chapters were a great storyline, despite needing some minor editing. After that, it has been sadly different.

I only reached chapter 15 but I lost interest. Needs some more editing and characters need more depth.

I really want to love it. The writing is beautiful and I love the mystery, that has me hooked. I’m hating how sexist it is though, it’s like all the men have this pure view and expectation of women that grates me. Might wait until more is written before I keep going.
