As much as i want to read this book, i can't get through chapter two, i can't seem to follow it
It's been a while since the last time I read, but I'm pretty shocked that in NU the ratings are so low!?
I can't bear it.
What's there in this novel?
- Sweets, fluff
- Love-hate relationship
- Bickering couple
- Action, thrill
- A bit of comedy (lmao)
- Military stuff
- Forced elements, yandere
- Tsundere
- World-building
- Secrets from the past
- A lot of mystery
- Schemes for sure
The writer's style is not like that of a kid. I've read 400 chapters, and there's no way it's written by a kid. There's so much mystery that makes me think, "I was so simple-minded." Yeah, to think that I read 400 of them without getting bored... The author is really awesome. I mean, I used to get bored easily.
Here’s my favorite moment:
**Spoiler**
"That is my happiness, not your generous gift for the country."
—He Jingyan
And that moment when Xu Yangyi actually cried because someone told him He Jingyan wanted to divorce (my heart hurts).
Don’t forget my second favorite couple!
**Spoiler**
But Zuo Bo teased, "What's wrong, Little Longlong? Are you angry that I was looking at others instead of you?"
He raised his eyebrows and smiled playfully.
He abruptly grabbed Long Chen's chin and was about to puff the smoke at Long Chen's face. However, he was slower than Long Chen, who pressed his dagger against his neck.
"How deep do I have to cut your artery to make your blood spur out like a spring?"
It is not like it seems; Long Chen is just a tsundere type—he wouldn’t do that, of course. T_T
Please don’t be disheartened by the low ratings! You might miss a gem for sure.
And, all pairings are power couples. Ok, now I wanna continue reading it again :D
**Spoiler**
I remember that moment when at first I thought the sister actually eloped with her girlfriend, but... The truth is there's something deeper than that. Who could have thought?
My first time using spoilers :v
Each individual should comprehend that excessive devotion has its bounds. This fellow has surpassed them, pushed them to breaking point, then meticulously pieced them back together, only to subject them to countless cuts - metaphorical or otherwise - before drowning them in vinegar. It's eye-opening to realize the average South Korean can exhibit such unhinged behavior without reservation. Despite initial skepticism, suspecting it might be another clichéd "villain reborn" tale, I've found it unexpectedly enjoyable.
The main character's eccentricity is a delightful surprise, and the dynamic between them and their supporting cast keeps things thrilling and amusing. The live chat interactions add an extra layer of excitement, which is universally appreciated, aren't they?
This narrative might not appeal to everyone, but personally, I find it a masterpiece. I just hope it maintains its quality as it progresses.
I’m crying because you might very well be right, I won’t be giving this a read no thanks
The narrative begins lighthearted and entertaining, but as a significant event occurs, leaving our innocent and vulnerable protagonist alone with an individual capable of dispatching her effortlessly and harboring resentment towards her, the focus shifts dramatically. For more than ten chapters now, the plot predominantly revolves around these two characters, and it seems this pattern will persist, at least based on the current translation progress.
This is an excellent novel and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. The only problem is, I would recommend this novel to those who have read novels already for a while and have no issue using their imaginations to understand what is going on. Yes, there is a lot of writing, but thats what makes this so unique considering how most Chinese novels are just brainless yapping, here, everything plays out perfectly and in a consistent balance, with a few loose gears here and there that just serve to make the story far more interesting than it is given credit for. Note: I'm currently 430+ chapters on reading and will continue to read, i just read the comments below and couldn't help but doubt the intelligence of some, but oh well, there are 9bn humans and not all of them tend to reach the average IQ levels.
I've read to around chapter 930, maybe ill pick it back up later but not really feeling it right now, what I have to say about this novel is that its a pretty cut and dry cultivation story, if your a fan of the OG stories where MC goes on an arduous adventure into the unknown, has immense power but has to fight literally everyone around him all the time to prove himself, this is the one. As for the negatives, in the beginning its still quite tolerable as MC takes actions himself to fight others and appear weak to kill those stronger, but later on it devolves into the typical young master arrogance stuff where MC can be walking down the street and 5 arrogant young masters will find trouble with him for no reason, even hundreds of chapters in where MC is famous throughout the world this still happens, then its the same old kill the young and the old come, kill the old and the even older come.
Yes I do, but for some reason there are times I want nothing more than to read stories like that
Hi guys,
A few days ago, I was navigating in the internet and I discovered that the author is currently writing another novel called "Zenith of Sorcery".
I haven't read it yet, but I thought you'd like to know
WTF! since when did this one finished? I though its around 1000 chapters.
I’ve watch this movie series it’s so good
It's truly heartbreaking to see her endure so much pain in both of her lives. I admire her strength and integrity, and she works tirelessly with unwavering determination. Despite the unfair treatments she endures, she remains resolute without becoming bitter or resentful, although seeking justice is understandable. Gradually, I am developing a favorable opinion of ML. The translators are doing an exceptional job, and their high-quality work is well worth the wait.
