Confusing.
I really enjoy it for the political intrigue. I can do without the previous-spouse crematorium chasing or the romance with the ML. There is character growth for some of the villains and side characters, as well as the main characters, which I really appreciate.
This is an incredibly touching novel. First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to the author for creating such a beautiful story. Kudos to the translators for their hard work in bringing this tale to life!
As I immersed myself in the narrative, one thing that struck me was the authentic portrayal of love. The emotions portrayed were so genuine, and I couldn't help feeling moved as I reached the end. Although some might argue that the romance and beauty are idealized, I believe that with dedication, loyalty, patience, understanding, and effective communication, such a love story can indeed exist现实中 – although it's not always the case.
I wholeheartedly recommend giving this novel a chance. Even if you're not particularly fond of overly sentimental stories, I assure you, you won't regret it (unless you're extremely critical ?). For me, this novel earns a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Give it a read, and you won't be disappointed.
