Yeah......I can't. Didn't develop an interest in this.Somethings are too outrageous for even "screw physics."Bye byeApologies, I have to bullsh*t a little more for the review to be accepted. LallalalalalalalalalalalalalaI think that ought to do it
With the completion of the novel, I decided to re-read from the beginning (again). Read up to chapter 762 (previously stopped at 1136), took a break for a few hours, and then BAM!What do you know--every chapter beyond 122 became locked behind a pay wall. This seriously kills the experience for every current or future reader. Lets do the math!1,901 Chapters total - 122 chapters free = 1,779 chapters locked.Let's round it to about 8 spirit stones per chapter.1,779 x 8 = 14,232+ spirit stones needed fully unlock the book....What? (Someone calculate how much money this is.)Okay, done with the ranting. Time to talk about the book so far!The translation quality is excellent. You might encounter a few mistakes like the spelling of someone's name is wrong or a letter is misplaced, but it's not often you see it. Great job!Stability of updates? Well, it's already completed so no need to worry about that.Story development! If there was any problem with the story, it would be the beginning. In most of the reviews you will see on this book, most people stopped around the beginning chapters. Given that there are 1901 chapters, it's pretty hard to determine when the beginning of the story ends, but if you continue to read, the story becomes beautiful and amazing. The issues you encounter in the beginning will not appear during the later parts of the story. What you will see throughout the story, however, are the exaggerated distances & measurements found in other xianxia novels. The author has a grand imagination--characters facing off millions of miles away, enemies 7 meters tall, traveling billions of miles in days/months. Seriously, how big is this world? You might get annoyed by it, so just ignore it and focus on the story itself. The power system is definitely unique. The only thing is that it's not explained too clearly so I will try to summarize it.Up to what I've read, there are only a few realms compared to other xianxia power systems. The power one holds in each realm is extremely wide apart, so don't expect the MC to break through 2 realms in one go. However, it is still possible to "realm cross" with weapons & treasures. Our MC, like many other MC's, is eventually able to do that. The humankind in this story are extremely weak (bottom of the food chain). Despite the power-ups the MC gets in the beginning, and how it can say that his power upgraded by 200% or something, think of it like this:MC Current Power Level: 0.1MC After Upgrade: 0.2Current Enemy Power Level: 0.5+(This issue only applies in the beginning of the story, so persevere! You can do it!)This is a story about how a human who traveled back in time after death, goes from a weak individual to a peerless being. The MC's rate of growth is exponential, so you don't have to wait TOO long until he starts trampling his enemies. The battle scenes are also amazing and great food for imagination. Some are just plain amazing. Lots of details in this book, so try not to skip chapters. Some are not relevant until hundreds of chapters later, so you might forget. As for character design and world background, they become good once you pass the beginning (I know, this is getting repetitive.)I can't express how much I love this book. Unfortunately, I have to finish it elsewhere due to the paywall. This is my first review, and I probably missed some stuff to address, so try not to bash me too hard!
???????????????????✍️??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
This novel is not good. The translator is solid and released 80 chapters at once, but I don't have the willpower to finish them all at once. This is something you should read slowly otherwise you'll see too many of it's flaws and start puking. There are many reasons why it sucks, but I'll only go over a few (and it's one "saving grace" if you can call it that.First: The TransmigrationThis was done horribly, we don't know much about where he came from or who he was. He just mentions it a few times that he is a "transcender" with two souls so he is twice as powerful at the same level of another person. Aside from that though, what do we know? What the hell was the purpose of this??? 'Second: The MotherShe doesn't have much reason to exist other than giving our Main Character a reason to get stronger. We know basically nothing about her. She is a literal unfeeling uncaring plot point and it's scary.Third: The EcononomyIt makes no sense. I don't know what else to say. It makes literally 0 sense. I feel like, by the time I get to chapter 80, things are gonna cost well into the trillions for stuff like food. The price scaling is ridiculous and hurts my brain. In the same vein as that though, school is free... but apparently, you learn basically nothing and all that matters is catching them all- I mean being a beastmaster.Fourth: WorldbuildingThere is none. There is literally no worldbuilding aside from this: The world is called mercury and suddenly spacial holes opened up and out came monsters. There is some sort of alliance between nations that share a common currency. Also kids can enter a dangerous wormhole into a different world for some reason.Yeah it's pretty bad, but lets got onto the "saving grace" : The Main CharacterHe appears to be intentionally made flawed and seems like he's going to be given a character arc, in which he'll change and stop being such an ass towards the FL. He isn't great by any means, and the other characters are pretty bland hoping he dies for seemingly no reason but he is the best part of this. Oh and that includes the fights and everything so far. I'm being serious. My rating is only high because of the translator, read this if you like pokemon, super gene or monster paradise. If not then, don't
The beginning had unmachted potential however after Reading ahead in the machine translated Version... The upcoming twist really has this novel going downhill, really tragic, so ill just stop wasting coins now because of the future drop off
Overall, it's an ok story. Not much to say about it other than it was interesting, but when I first saw it I was like: "a SLIME in the MCU???? What?"Have to say I do dislike the main character though, but that's just me.On the other hand the storyline's cool, so you should give it a try!
Really nice and clever story. Quite unique technology and cultivation fusion setting. The translation at the beginning leaves something to be desired, but it gets better towards the end.
I understand that it’s mainly just a repeat novel but as far as quality goes it’s actually really good but that might just be my bias towards agriculture based novels.
The translation is very bad I don't know how he/she got selected for translating this work, and so many grammatical mistakes in every line, I feel like I was reading mtl version
I love the stories background and the world building potential that leaves the main character open to go in many different ways along with facing interesting challenges leaves me very satisfied.
The MC is so dumb, how can he not understand what the system does. I could have done way better than him with the system. In the starting the story was so good I am disappointed with what happened to the story. Maybe rewrite from when he wants to relocate his shop.
I would love to read more chapters of this book.
