I need a minute. I genuinely need a minute because Grandma Yun's story hit me like a freight train and I wasn't prepared for it at all. This woman — this former mortal, an embroiderer who taught orphaned girls to weave during a chaotic age of war, who turned barren land into a place famous for its brocade, who wove sunset clouds into cloth — and now she's forgotten. Her temple is in ruins, her idol is covered in dust, rain drips through the roof onto her shoulder, and the only thing keeping her alive is a few strands of incense smoke and the memories of girls she saved a thousand years ago. And when Fengxue asks her why a deity would be threatened by a rat spirit, Grandma Yun just sighs and says "It's a long story..." like she's not even bitter about it. She's not. She's just... tired. And then she offers Fengxue the cloud-brocade, this incredible magical artifact woven from her remaining divine power, and she does it with this warm, gentle smile like she's genuinely happy to finally pass something precious on to someone worthy. The line that wrecked me was: "Let them forget, then. As long as the weaving girls still have somewhere to stand, the cloud-brocade will keep being passed down in this world." She doesn't need worshippers. She needs her craft to survive. And when she senses something 'strange' inside Fengxue's heart and takes her hand to say "Poor child" — that moment of genuine compassion from a forgotten deity to a young woman who's carrying burdens she can't name? I was not ready for that level of emotional precision. Fengxue can only manage a rueful smile because what can she even say to that? In her past life, no one ever learned the truth. And here's a goddess from a ruined temple who sees her and believes her without questioning.
Your writing style is so striking, it adds to the appeal of this story, and this story also has great psychological elements, your writing is also neat, keep it up and keep improving! Keep fighting!
This story is incredibly well-crafted! I love the author's work, but this one is special—perhaps because both main characters are a bit older (but not old!), more mature, and absolutely adorable. The chemistry between them is fantastic! I also really like the misunderstanding, and I can't wait to see how it gets resolved. The writing style is excellent—natural, dynamic, and perfectly balanced between action and character development. This book is truly a pleasure to read. It's outstanding.
I'm glad I read your work! I wish you more success. I really loved the novel.
Just finished reading the 63 chapters and I'll be waiting for the new chapter releases. I'm hooked on the FL's relationship with the 3 ML's. Kicks off around Ch 10. She's so cute and she's driving these boys crazy. I'm voting for the Prince. They would be sizzling together!!! Hope it gets picked up - need more chapters now pls author!!!
Double chapter—————————————————————————-
A well-crafted world, with a promising yet not invulnerable character. The cultivation system is gradual and not overpowered, and am loving to see where this story goes!
the story is honestly too confusing and starts to abruptly. There is no introduction or explanation of the world or the background. We are just thrown straight into the story and plot, and it just keeps going on and on. Honestly, I don't know what to make of this.
Absolute cinema. This is peak. Za best in za east. Wynn my goat. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. God dang how much characters does a review need.
My favorite novel of all time. the author is a genius.
Need to read more chapters but so far its great
Looks interesting to me, will check it out
