What is the thing that happened to turn you off?
An amazing story from start to finish. Yes there is a translation issue especially halfway through but the overall plot is worth it.
You will find it easier to understand if you have read stories related to chinese mythology
Story is of a similar concept to - my senior brother is too stable, another novel suferring from translation issues
TF? I'm actually considering reading this, but I guess I don't want to read it anymore
I've been searching for a good read that matches my taste, and I finally found this one. Don't be discouraged by the low ratings; most of the highly-rated books I came across were just trash. Give this one a try.
I hope the translator finishes this work. You've done an excellent job. In the meantime, I'll check out the machine-translated version out of curiosity.
This compelling narrative, "Stepmother: An Unforeseen Bond," delves into the complex dynamics of family ties and selflessness. The protagonist's journey as she contemplates donating a kidney to her half-brother showcases not only her compassion but also the intricate emotions that arise from unexpected kinship. Tinged with raw vulnerability and a touch of suspense, the story provokes thought on sacrifice, forgiveness, and the power of love that transcends bloodlines. A heart-wrenching yet inspiring read that leaves readers reflecting on their own familial connections.
Just watch the anime
