I enjoyed the characters and this story, but it’s a fairly light tale when it comes to plot, world-building, and background development.
The author seems to use a bit of hand-waving to make the story work. It’s meant to be a comedy, but it primarily relies on a slightly cute and oblivious main character (MC) and a devoted, wealthy male lead (ML) to keep the reader engaged. While it’s a familiar trope, it’s executed reasonably well.
The connection between the two characters is quite cliché and feels like a typical romantic plot device. It’s unrealistic and riddled with plot holes.
However, this is a short story, and it does manage to entertain.
