As far as I have been reading until chapter 80, I didn’t see any big plot hole that might ruin the novel yet. So, you can rest assure that you won’t find any big inconsistency within the novel. As for the other elements, such as characters’s feelings, dialogue, and decisions, I also don’t see any inapropriate thing ‘for’ the author had made them feel alive and consistent for their own chain of actions. I like these aspects a lot. Last but not least, the power system, currently, It hasn’t been shown to us 100% yet, I think that it’s only 10% or 20% that has been shown so far and it contains taste and smell of other famous novels. For example, The Second Coming of Gluttony and Lord of the Mysteries. I just finished these chapters and I'm sitting here trying to figure out how the author manages to go from a cooking scene to a full-blown family confrontation without it feeling jarring. Let me think about this. Chapter 27 is basically a slice-of-life episode. Xiyue makes peanuts, pays her neighbors fairly, goes shopping, buys fabric. It's slow, it's cozy, it's almost boring if you're not paying attention. But here's the thing—the author is laying groundwork. Every detail matters. The fair payment system, the new clothes for everyone, the meat dinner. These aren't just warm moments; they're building Xiyue's credibility and resources before the conflict hits. Then Chapter 28 shifts. We get the Ziyuan scene, which is quieter but emotionally heavier. The meat dinner with the cousins—everyone swallowing hard, taking only a few bites because they know it's expensive. This is where the author makes you feel the scarcity before she makes you feel the abundance. And then Chapter 29—BOOM. Wang is screaming, Zhao is sneering, Hezhi is quoting the Classics, and Xiyue is dismantling them all. The pacing here is relentless. The author doesn't give you a break between the warm family dinner and the confrontation. You're still feeling the warmth of Mrs. Zhang in her new clothes when Zhao walks in and ruins everything. That contrast is intentional and it works. The chapter ends on Xiyue's line about her silver, and I immediately wanted to turn the page. The author knows exactly when to speed up and when to let you breathe.

Alright, this novel is gutsy and ambitious. Three entirely different storylines of different genres meshed together incredibly well using that one demon lord.Seriously, I was scared for this one. I thought the stories would clash, and that there would be tonal clashes and clashes for which story takes the spotlight.But this goddamned author pulled it off.And he pulled it off to an extent I've seriously only seen in published books.Alright, yeah, so if you, the person reading the review, hasn't cought on to the fact that I love this book and that this is just going to be me gushing all over it, then let me make it clear.I LOVE this book.The writing is phenomenal. It's set on Earth and I'd say it's a pretty solid planet as far as word building goes.It seems to be very well researched. I can't elaborate on this point really because I haven't had much experience with the character and location and customs settings present in this book, and as a typical Webnovel reader I'm too lazy to cross reference it against stuff, but yeah it feels really well researched.The writing style is great. The flow and pace just fits the story like a glove. It's introspective in the best of ways. It's just great, yeah? There's some occasional spelling issues I've come across but c'mon, that's still leagues better than any Webnovel I've seen on here.The characters oooh boy the characters I love em to bits. Character development and growth is on point. Characters are all hella likable. They are characteristic of how much effort went into this book and how much I love it.Alright, I'll close this off by saying a couple more things sike this brain isn't going to let me stop gushing so soon-a) It's great.b) I love it.c) Yes it does have quite a bit of LGBTQ rep and boy do the characters gain depth due to the societal impacts of that, but it's not the focus of the book.d) I need more chapterse) Hey almost daily uploads would you look at that thank you authorf) I have no clue why I'm still doing this.7) I will not apologise for any time wasted on reading this 'review'
