slow slow and slow?I loved the character development of protagonist . I have read about 85 chapters and till chp 50 it is extremely slow story development but after that there is a blossoming of intrest in the story . I had to constantly think about should I drop it(bcoz slow development) or continue it because I don't want to regret to miss an interesting story, but........................ now times have changed I started to like even slow pace story ....... pretty contradictory, I guess
this novel hooked me from the first chapter itself. I love the relationship between the main character and his mother. keep going author.. ? fighting ?
I honestly believe this is the best book on this platform. It’s constantly exhilarating and not repetitive in the slightest. The world building is literal insanity and the characters are really well made. Nothing ever feels 2D. Some of the side characters even feel like “other MCs.” Somehow though, it doesn’t detract from the MC in any way, shape, or form. I don’t want to rant lest you skip the review and/or this absolute masterpiece. Read it.The only downside of this book is that it may ruin all other webnovels for you. It sure did for me.
its fine, above average, dont expect him to become alchemist, i think 450+ch title ALCHEMIST which im not sure if he become an alchemist. Didnt even bother to read that part. Too much fighting and all characters are connected in some way. Until the multiverse and other two reincarnators is introduced and he is still not an alchemist. I kinda expect where mc build wealth through game being an alchemist and he building mercenary org. Why not called it MMORPG: MERCENARY FOR HIRE Hahahaha
After chapter 300 the story goes down Hill very much because the writer limits the mc and doesn't let him rank up to stage 4 while having many nea4 death experiences and the excuse is that people will be suspicious of him ,just a dumb excuse.
I’ve read lots of books on wn, some with chapters numbering in the thousands, some with chapters in the hundreds, and have followed those ones as they kept going. Now, with all these books in mind, Awe’s books are objectively my favorite, and always will be. Easy to understand; there will hardly ever be any grammar mistakes, and if there are, you won’t even notice them. Smooth pace; this one in particular is a sore subject for many novels, but Awe’s novels mix a great blend of leveling up and using those levels. Insane attention to detail; I honestly get shocked whenever I look at a chapter from Awe and compare it to any other novel. Feels as if you’re inside the story, experiencing everything for yourself. Anyways, you don’t have to trust a review, but on the off-chance you find a novel that you end up loving, give some of Awe’s novels a try. P.S. This review goes for all of their novels, although RRR was my favorite.

The dialogue in this book is genuinely excellent and I want to highlight why. First, Xu Zhizhi's voice is razor-sharp. When she says "You're really blind" to Liu Mengjiao, or "Whenever something happens to my sister, he always scolds me. I'm so scared" (while clearly not scared at all)—this is sarcasm as a lifestyle. Her line "It's a new era. Women can hold half the sky. This is called divorce" is such a perfect deflection, using the political language of the time to justify her personal choice. Feng Jiao Jiao has her own distinct voice—she's the hype woman, the one who amplifies Xu Zhizhi's victories. "Pathetic" and "Interesting" are her go-to one-word zingers. But the real dialogue gem is Lu Yuchuan. This man says like three sentences per chapter and each one lands. "I'm just helping your uncle fulfill his duty, don't overthink it"—the avoidance of eye contact while saying something so clearly caring is hilarious. "This bowl isn't clean at all. Don't mess around in the kitchen next time"—he's literally calling out Xu Lingling's performance without even addressing her directly. And "Since your body isn't well, don't run around" after she cries? That's not cruelty, that's him refusing to participate in her drama. Xu Lingling's dialogue is performative sweetness—"Captain Lu, you're someone important. How could you do such trivial work?"—she's always framing everything as concern while actually manipulating. And Liu Dawei's "Look at yourself. What do you think you're doing? This is vulgar!" while literally just abandoning his wife? The author uses dialogue to expose hypocrisy without ever needing to narrate it. That's skilled writing.
No doubt this novel is interesting
The pacing here is masterful. We start with the cat revealing the truth about Xu Miaoyan—immediate hook. Then Yan Fenghua's arrival brings political context and emotional complexity. The conversation about divorce is the emotional climax of this section, with Yan Fenghua's conflicted feelings adding layers. Then Nanny Zhao appears with the fabrics, reminding us that time is running out—Xu Miaoyan enters next month. The chapter ends with Lu Changqing's drunken advance, which is both a plot development and a character moment that shows how far he's fallen from his vow. Each scene transitions smoothly but maintains momentum. The author doesn't linger too long on any single moment but also doesn't rush. We get the letter from Fang Jue as a bridge to future plot developments, the confrontation with Yan Fenghua as present-tense conflict, and Lu Changqing's violation as the chapter's devastating closer. The structure moves from revelation to confrontation to consequence, and each beat lands because the author trusts us to connect the dots.
