I enjoyed reading this book and felt that the plot was actually quite original and refreshing compared to the usual stories on here. I was disappointed with the ending as it was more of a summary than actual dialogue amongst the characters like the rest of the book. Just seemed to fizzle out

This was actually a nice change for a Mafia story, actually about mafia stuff with a love story twisted in vs the typical power hungry greedy slutty women or family mistreating her it had substance however, it felt like there were many loose ends left unanswered in the end. No sequel mentioned.
I think for now, Victor’s book is my favourite. I love the simplicity of the situation that is quite complex but down to earth. I can’t wait to know what will happen with Sydney as well. I guess they’ll meet at some point.
I’m happy Victor is putting himself and his needs first. Finally!
