It's the typical doormat, spineless female lead who endures a man's constant disrespect and abuse, told repeatedly that she isn't worthy and then gets a Mary Sue makeover. She's worthy once she improves. The male lead gets to a be a unapologetic abuser whose redemption arc is plausible deniability.
I already liked the story when I read the prologue and when I read the first chapter. Damn! it was good it really pulled me in and I started to read next. In the Library for sure!

They crave to see how their stories progress now that the MC is healthy and thriving, and feel that abruptly ending the tale would be unjust. The reader expresses their disappointment by stating it's a crime if there isn't a sequel and pleads for assurance that there will indeed be a Part 2.
