I'd like to thank you for your review. It's your comment that convinced me to check this novel out a couple days ago & I'm already on Vol 4. It is really good, very much appreciated.
Not gonna lie. It's a high end plot novel. Truly good. But what's with the mixing and mincing of names? Qi Aoushuang turned into klera and then ladeya and raddiya and what not??? Even a name like Jean turned into Jin Yan? Wth is this? Also.."j*h*d" is an Islamic term. Why is it being used for petty wars? Please work on the translation. The grammar is not okay either, reading this requires more braincells than maths in later chapters. Pleaseeeeeeee work on it. It's such a good work.!! T_T
Was this dropped cause it hasn’t been updated in 2yrs
Thats crazy, but i doubt they could do a good adaptation for it
The story is engaging with humorous characters, save for those pesky cannon fodder supporting roles. The female lead, while not overly romantic, shows growth in confronting her emotions, even if she isn't proactive. The male lead is amusing and adaptable, transforming into a troublemaker, gentleman, or well-behaved youth based on the situation, which I find entertaining. My favorite character is actually the FL's third uncle, who is loving, charming, and occasionally childlike, making for enjoyable moments.
As for the FL's family, there's a spoiler here:
To be honest, I didn't particularly like any of them. They were all self-centered. Initially, I thought the "white lotus" sister had redeeming qualities, but she ultimately failed to improve, despite her initial intentions to help others misunderstand the FL and later striving for strength. Though she never became a direct antagonist, her annoying presence remained. The brother's character arc was fitting, as he truly was a psychopath. I'll spare the father's discussion, but the mother isn't innocent either, despite her genuine desire for the FL's forgiveness. However, it might be too little, too late.
The FL's family serves mainly as a contrast to highlight her improved life, which can come across as manipulative. If reincarnation were real, no one would want to be part of her family.
The narrative sometimes focuses excessively on the white lotus sister, and the ending feels rushed, skipping from university life to their successful careers. It's abrupt, but the comic tone keeps me entertained.
Overall, while not my top pick, I find the story satisfying, giving it a solid 7 out of 10.
This book is a fantastic choice to read after finishing "Gaze at the Scenes of Debauchery" or any novel where the morally reprehensible character doesn't receive the consequences they deserve. It's such a refreshing change to encounter a protagonist who appears calm, gentle yet ruthless – someone who maintains a smile but can turn fierce when needed. The main character is a true psychopath, in my opinion, and witnessing their calculated revenge is incredibly satisfying.
What sets "Slag Gong Wants to Kill Me" apart is the lack of attempts to justify the antagonist's cheating or make the reader empathize with him. The husband (let's call him ML for now) is portrayed as despicable throughout, and spoiler alert: he meets his demise fittingly. The person he cheats with, despite knowing about his married status, actively seeks to harm the MC, further adding to the satisfaction of the plot.
The revenge storyline is intricate and thrilling, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. Although some might argue that it leans towards the unrealistic side, the intensity and the恨意 build-up make it an enjoyable read. The ending, with the Editor's involvement and the unexpected twist, adds depth to the narrative.
Overall, this is a fantastic revenge tale that doesn't shy away from delivering justice to the wrongdoers. If you're tired of seeing scum gongs get off easy, this book is a must-read. I'd rate it a solid 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.

"Master of Time" is a captivating novel that delves into the intricate tapestry of human existence and the timeless quest for control over our destiny. At its core, the story weaves a compelling narrative around the protagonist's journey as they grapple with the concept of time, both as an enigmatic force and a metaphor for life's fleeting moments.
The author expertly explores the themes of choice, free will, and the consequences of our actions, inviting readers to ponder the delicate balance between fate and personal agency. Through vivid characters and immersive settings, the novel challenges us to question the nature of time itself - is it a relentless conqueror or a malleable canvas upon which we paint our lives?
As we follow the protagonist's evolution, we are reminded of the importance of cherishing every passing second and making meaningful connections. The novel's exploration of love, loss, and redemption underscores the ephemeral beauty of life and the power of human resilience.
Ultimately, "Master of Time" is not just a tale of time manipulation, but a profound meditation on the human condition. It encourages us to reflect on our place in the grand scheme of things and the choices we make in the ever-shifting sands of time. A thought-provoking read, it leaves readers with a sense of both wonder and responsibility, reminding us that even in the face of an unyielding master, we are the architects of our own destinies.
This is great. I enjoy reading this but i can't stand with poor translation.
Stacking?☠️
Read about 290 chapters. Then dropped it.. It became too boring especially the sub plots..i think author is trying to give extra info and build a full fledged story.. And i Don't like that. It’s too much to digest as a reader. Giving extra info is good but giving excessive is really bitter. And i gradually lost interest in mc. 5 years gap in timeline. Then he became like a baby sitter while doing extra works. I like the former cold, calculative, hardcore mc.
Whats wrong with *nc*st??
